I found them thanks to their netflix series, and since then I watched a lot of their shows on youtube, I really love this type of humour, and I just love them, and it was good to peak behind the curtain for a little
Brace yourselves, I love sketch comedy and tend to ramble a lot, so this comment might be a long one! I came across your videos through complete happenstance barely a month ago - Your 1999 video "Same Tie In The Workplace" was the video that made me an instant fan. I've long been a huge lover of surreal comedy, and still somewhere have a huge master list of skit ideas that I wish I had the means to make - what little content I have on my own channel from around 5 years ago is all I really managed to make of it. You seem like really professional, well-spoken and down to earth guys who genuinely have a love for the craft. Your humour might be a bit madcap, and crass at times, but you know how to make people laugh, and it's something you really enjoy doing. More than anything else, I really can appreciate those rare bits of entertainment where the enthusiasm of the entire team behind it shines through. Best of luck to the Aunty Donna team. You're doing some stellar work, and even if you are half a world away from me, I hope you get to keep making great sketches and videos for years to come. If by some freak accident you ever need to hire a writer from another continent, shoot me a message ;P Also quick PS, as an Englishman myself, Zach's fancy british characters really tickle me. Keep on playing the bizarre eccentric characters, and you'll always get plenty of laughs :)
You mean to tell me that Broden is usually putting on a voice?! You mean to tell me that Broden is putting on a voice then puts on a voice when he plays manbeast. So you mean to tell me Broden, who plays Broden, Is putting on a voice who then plays manbeast. Boys you sure are something
Another little TH-cam gem for me to pop in my eyeballs! Thanks #screensustralia #aussieyoutubegoodness #probgoingtoenduponthestreetfromwatchingtoomuchyoutube Cheers 😀🕺🏻🎥🏖🇦🇺
Broden being professional feels wrong. Like, just him talking normally. Every time he speaks I get anxiety waiting for him to shift character or hit a punchline.
The entire time I was watching this I kept waiting for it to erupt into some sort of absurd, satirical nonsense sketch. It's so fucking weird seeing these guys literally just do straight interviews.
Literally, Zach sounds like he is in character even when he trying to be serious.
This is the most professional I've ever seen the boys. How did you get them to actually be serious for once?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The gave charlie ravioli, broden some beard cream, and zach some conditioner
They put them in separate rooms.
@@pyroduck Charlie? Do you mean Mark?? Lmao
The interviews were actually recorded over a 3 hour period and the resulting video is a composite of some words that they managed to piece together.
Broden Kelly speaking clearly and not a low mumbly mess is more than uncomfortable
would like but thought i'd keep it at 69 likes
@@ryanwalls7878 understandable, have a nice day
It’s viscerally upsetting
I don't like it
I’m kinda weirded out that his deep voice isn’t his actual voice
Probably one of the most surreal things I’ve ever watched, I’ve never seen them this sincere.
The boys out of character? This is a rare gem
What makes you think they're not acting
This is their character
They’re in character 😂
Why does them being serious make this feel like the biggest sketch of them all?
Was anyone else just waiting for it to break out in a weird sketch?
That's why I clicked
This comment section is going to be a trail of blown minds regarding Broden’s sincerity.
The sincerity... unfathomable.
That’s not Brodens voice. That’s NOT Brodens voice wtf
Netflix couldn't even get these guys to keep a straight face in an interview, haven't you done well Screen Australia?
Woah these are the boys from that netflix “Aunty Donna big ol house of fun” netflix special sketch comedy trio aunty Donna?!
They sure are!
I found them thanks to their netflix series, and since then I watched a lot of their shows on youtube,
I really love this type of humour, and I just love them, and it was good to peak behind the curtain for a little
they have a Netflix series now. Haven't they done well.
I now need an aunty Donna documentary
Watching them do full make up for what was 5 seconds in the roll call sketch... the dedication!
We love our Donna boys!
Ben Russel is actually a great comedian. How is he not better known?
You beauty... You beauty!..... YOU BEAUTY... YOOOOOOU BEEEEAUTY!!!!!!!
I love Aunty Donna!
SOOOOO professional yet so silly.... A+ ... keep being indie.
Brace yourselves, I love sketch comedy and tend to ramble a lot, so this comment might be a long one!

Same tie and cheeky tea party killed me
This is a great piece! Awesome to see and hear about the passion of the creative process. Keep it up guys!

Not gonna lie, took me a hot minute to realize this was serious and not a sketch.
Season 2!!!!!!!

Love it boys, love it
Aunty Donna breaking Kayfabe?! WHAT IS THIS?!
Zachary Rurane....?
Can't wait until you bous come do the Edinburgh Fringe.
Will you release the live show version boys?
5:08 I love film
They missed out the 7th member, Man Bost
Don't forget Cowdoy
Broden.
Y'all goin on and on about his voice here.
I'm just glad to see a ginger comedian.
his serious voice is so high pitch XD
I watched the entire video waiting for it to go off the rails, taking until the end of the video to realize it was a real serious thing
Where can I find a full credit list for the crew?
I think it's actually in the description of all their videos
Max Miller?!!! The Co-Editor of Oddball?!
Yer! He’s super talented.
The penguin movie tho
Rurane?
Whoops, typo! It is in fact Ruane
I can't comprehend them not being doofuses
Is Egg Helms really the Executive producer of the show or was that also just a sketch? Lmao
0:48 There's footage of the Glennridge show?? Is it online anywhere??
... Have you checked their channel?
@@LuckyLog97 Yeah, they've got 'New Show' and 'Album Tour' but not Glennridge yet
@@nialledwards what are you talking about there's like 6 sketches out. Search Aunty Donna Glenridge
OP is talking about the live show of Glenridge not the web series
@@jazrajawbreaker oh THANK you. In that case, yes there's definitely footage, but I'd imagine they won't release it until the Web series is finished
This is fucked I can never unhear serious donna
3:30 Zach with a man bun 😍
I keep thinking they're about to do s bit even when they're serious
*Haven't you done well.*
I thought this was another sketch when they said there are 6 people in Aunty Donna. I was expecting 3 weird characters.
It's so weird seeing them talk seriously for some reason.
I was waiting for one of them to lose their shit. Is that the point of this sketch expecting them to go crazy but they don't?
I’m a frog
Aren’t e doona
Broden being professional feels wrong. Like, just him talking normally. Every time he speaks I get anxiety waiting for him to shift character or hit a punchline.
Them out of character feels so uncomfortable. I was hoping something out of left field happened...
Why was I expecting even this one to be a sketch parodying behind the scenes
I was not expecting this video to be a serious behind the scenes...
BRODEN
Who else expected a sketch
Is no one speaking about that FINE lass with redhair at 0:42?
I keep waiting for the insane punchline
Haven't even watched this yet, but I don't believe it's a behind the scenes and not a sketch
DON'T GET IN THE KILN
This is very weird.
I'm waiting for the punchline.
But it's not coming.
Well haven't these boys done well?
I was 100% sure that this was a sketch. Surprised to say the least.
What timeline are these guys from? Their age makes NO sense.
They are in there early 30’s I think but I get what u mean lol
Did you know this comment is a drum?
You do realise they’re probably in character for the entirety of this interview- we’ll never really know the “true” them!
I can't tell if this is satirical or not hmmmm
Is that Judas?
a sketch needs to hook people in from the start? Why not use computah?
This was definitely Aunty Donna's unfunniest sketch. Really missed the mark boys.
Well this wasn't funny at all. Not the boys' best work at all.
i dont trust this
