Used to play 800x600 back in 2015, but on 200+ fps, s1mple actually used to play like this back then.
That doesn't increase fps as much as you think.
@@Xenon_001 back in 2014 2015 with the pc components at that time it really did for most players, I did not play like that for necessity I just liked it back then 800x600 black bars like I said s1mple used to play professionally on tournaments like that.

BTW. I highly recommend putting the max FPS command 1-3 higher than what you want.
Source FPS limiting is a bit weird and not that consistent and generally makes your FPS less than you desired.
1:24 is the smoothest transition i seen in ages
Ah, I used to play cs go with 55 60 fps. When I tried to play at 800x600, Dust 2 was not working, but 800x600 was too small, like torture, but now I have a nice computer, it gets more than 300 fps, time passes without mercy, I felt sad when I watched this video now.

Bruh, 55 fps is that bad? I always play with 20-40 fps and im fine, its great actually... i know, you are in a first World country and a 50ms difference is bad for you, but bruh, ive lived in a first World country for 4 years and its the same thing, it only is actually worse when a i have 20 fps

No bro. Playing on a lot lower resolution feels alot better. I could play 1920x1080 200 fps but i prefer 1080x1024 on 240 fps

@@CONTXGIOUS by having your screen refreshing only 55 times per second, being at a higher monitor refresh rate already, and the tick rate being the fps rate of the server itself, so sending 64 refreshments or frames back and forth is determined by your fps with this engine.

я играл на ноутбуке 640 на 480, пересмотрел все видео все способы для повышения фпс, графика становилась хуже и хуже но фпс оставался 30-60. спасибо родителям что на нг купили комп теперь 300-500 играю
Ну проблема низкого фпс на слабых компах не столько в самом фпс, сколько в var-е из-за которого появляются фризы от тех же смоков, гранат, моликов... спрея и т.д. Игра зависает постоянно, чтобы это прочувствовать не достаточно понизить фпс, нужно именно иметь плохое железо. Когда у тебя начнёт при движение фпс до 20-30 просаживать, вот тогда почуствуется разница от стабильного фпс. Я не жалуюсь просто говорю какой гп у меня за чуть менее 5к часов. Поиграв в пк клубе, было чувство будто играешь совсем в другую игру.

Started playing 800x600 back in 2019 because my fps was awful on old build, almost 4 years later, I have a new PC but the res stays the same, it just feels too good to change, I've tried using a normal res like 1280x960 but it just doesn't beat 800x600

Guys you must to understand that 55 fps is unplayable unless you use sniper and digle like this dude did. As soon as you pick up automatic rifle you will go like 1-41 kd ratio no cap
