Thank you for interviewing him. I've always been a fall of all 4 Strings tracks. All of 'em! The vocals make the tracks sound extra good, too. I don't typically like the 'stereotypical trance sound'. The epic breakdown isn't my cup of tea; at all. But 4 Strings's trance sound will always sound good to me. I've always been into a melodic progressive house kinda sound, ex: classic Markus Schulz. But I can hear those influences in 4 Strings, too. Thanks again!
The Coast 2 Coast Remix is far and away my favourite. I think people have forgotten Madelyne Beautiful Child. The Hiver and Hammer Remix is brilliant! Yes, I have these on vinyl too. Though I've never heard of the Carlos track from 1997. I'll have to check it out.

He doesn’t lie, Vanessa never did sing on any of the 4 String songs. She was “just” the face of the act. You can easily compare the old 4 Strings songs with the new ones and you will clearly hear it is the same voice (from Susanne Teutenberg). Working on an interview with Susanne later this year 😉
I don’t understand how or why this practice is so commonplace in Europe. Produce hit songs and get a pretty woman to be the “face” and pretend to “sing”. You would think after the whole Milli Vanilli fiasco, they would forbid this practice. It’s unethical and egregious, and here in the US it is seriously frowned upon.
Trust me, it does happen in the USA as well. Plus what do you think of people that don't write / produce their own songs but are still acting like they did on stage? It happens all around the world, not just in Europe. Especially in today's dance scene there's lots of DJs that say they produce, but they have ghostproducers that make their music. Happens in the USA as well, but most people don't know this ... yet ;-)

It happens all around the world, not just in Europe. Especially in today's dance scene there's lots of DJs that say they produce, but they have ghostproducers that make their music. Happens in the USA as well, but most people don't know this ... yet ;-)

Not going to watch the interview. As far as I'm concerned, after losing Vanessa Van Hemert that was the end of 4 strings. Stupid, stupid move. And clearly, it cost him dearly.
She didn't sing on any of the 4 Strings tracks ever, so not sure how "losing" her is a bad thing lol. And the original vocalist (Susanne Teutenberg) is "back" to do all the vocals.
I agree, when 4strings dropped the vocalist... all the tracks, while being not bad really missed it!!! The freaking powerful vocals!!!
What a strange comment as muzikxpress said that woman (Vanessa) just appeared in the artwork and videos and maybe lip synced live I don't know. She had zero input in the actual music as far as I can tell.
