“ I was so young when I was born.” - George Harrison
Benjamin Button can't relate
He was born at a young age
@@dazzledazz123 I was thinking of Benjamin Button whenever George sings that line!
I think that George talk about reenactment.
Oh wow I didn’t know you were young when you were born
"I was so young when I was born."
Not just a musical genius, but also a scientific genius.
Or for the avians amongst us: I used to be an egg, but grew out of it
But when George says that he is referring to incarnation. He believed he had a long road ahead to reach divinity - hence the drugs, sex and fast cars he indulged in!
@@garethb1961 we all have to delude ourselves that death is not in our vicinity, dwelling on it would drive us mad,
If George was comforted on his deathbed by belief in reincarnation, good for him, total rubbish can be comforting
I was born on my birthday
That lyric is right up there with "Daylight is good at arriving at the right time" (All Things Must Pass).
I feel like too many people in the music business take themselves so seriously nowadays. George knew how to make music fun.
his solo albums unfortunately are really boring
tommy thevenot NO THEY ARENT HOW DARE YOU
tommy thevenot be quiet
The opposite is also very common too, people making shit music and not caring at all about what they put out.
@@tommythevenot7617 George Harrison was probably the best at song writing when it comes to the other 3 Beatles. His songs are among of THE BEST songs in the world. Fact. Something being one of THE MOST KNOWN Beatles song. We have George to thank for that.
I love how George's slide guitar just creates the perfect atmosphere, the right notes, the right feel.
beautiful player very unique and instantly recognizable style.
He's the perfect guitar player.
Not the best. But the perfect.
Does that make sense?
Oh yeah, you've really got this on repeat
He was a master of slide guitar and he used standard tuning.
George was indeed one of a kind. His music will survive forever.
It’s alarming how well George fit in that stroller and how easily he popped out of it.
It seems like the British have this thing about baby strollers.
This is one of the levels of hell... Im looking forward to

@@waterbird91 oh yes, didn't he join a reincarnation religion of some sort when he stayed in India?
Quite simply, the quintessential "George-style" lyric. I absolutely ADORED George Harrison's clever, witty mind and music. 🎵 🎶 😎 👀 🎸
This strikes me in a very peculiar way. Quirky, wholesome, somehow familiar - like an intro to a favorite show I had long forgotten. I'd appreciate if someone could help identify why I'm feeling what I'm feeling. His smile throughout is like a joke between him and me. A side of Harrison I've never seen before.
The familiarity may be because it was directed by Eric Idle, one of the members of Monty Python. The costumes, acting and shot choice are all very Monty Python
It reminds me of Thomas the Tank Engine's theme.
And yet they still ask me why George is my favourite Beatle.
mytch cool zidzz 😂

Yes George was way back in the fucking day but why on 🌍 Earth did George decided to do a damn out rated song called Crackerbox palace and did a video of it
George Harrison was my favorite Beatle. I was in the seventh grade when they were on Ed Sullivan show. Rest in paradise George.😊❤
Hey look up a band called The Doublejumps if you like George Harrison. It's a band from New Zealand (my home country!)
George Harrison: I was so young when I was born.
Us: This is what we called words of wisdom
My god. George was one attractive man.
Quanto mais velho ficava, mais lindo ficava tambem.
Jtg423 Gaspar he was the hot Beatle
Isabelly Duarte Yeah he looked amazing until he died Paul was cute too
Yes, Pattie Boyd said he was the best looking man she had EVER seen!
Cami Castle poor Pattie
I’m sorry, when he pops out the cradle and his hair just,, FLOOFS?? My heart.
My favorite song of George. I love that his wife, girlfriend at the time, makes a cameo appearance in the video. The playfulness of this video makes me giggle everytime I watch it. Doesn't get old. LOVE!
May I ask as who
I’d like to know who u mean, and which girl is the one u are talking about??
@@foofookachoo1136 when George is in the 4 poster bed. The beautiful brunette on the left.
@@OddBunches George is in the 4 poster bed. The beautiful brunette on the left.
@@RhondaMFazio-ny5kt Thank you!! I was wondering, also!
This is so weird
I love it
Ok 😎
That could be anyone talking about me.
Yeah, it was directed by the monty phyton member Eric Idle, same style
The way his “nanny” keeps such a straight stern face when George pops up in the pram is perfection ❤️
If I were on that video my face would be looking just like the nanny with no damn interest
He did kinda turn his head away from the camera so he could chuckle I think
Neil Innes of Rutles and Monty Python and the Holy Grail minstrel fame.
I was so young when I was born
My eyes could not yet see
And by the time of my first dawn
Somebody holding me, they said
I welcome you to Crackerbox Palace
We've been expecting you
You'll bring such joy in Crackerbox Palace
No matter where you roam, know our love is true
While growing up, or trying to
Not knowing where to start
I looked around for someone who
May help reveal my heart, and someone said
While you're a part of Crackerbox Palace
Do what the rest all do
Or face the fact that Crackerbox Palace
May have no other choice than to deport you
And we welcome you to Crackerbox Palace
We've been expecting you
You'll bring such joy in Crackerbox Palace
No matter where you roam, know our love is true
It's twue, it's twue
Some times are good, some times are bad
That's all a part of life
And standing in between them all
I met a Mr. Greif, and he said
I welcome you to Crackerbox Palace
Was not expecting you
Let's rap and tap at Crackerbox Palace
Know that the Lord is well and inside of you
And we welcome you to Crackerbox Palace
We've been expecting you
You'll bring such joy in Crackerbox Palace
No matter where you roam, know our love is true
You'll bring such joy in Crackerbox Palace
No matter where you roam, know our love
Know our love is true
Thank you for the lyrics!!
My Mom told me I was born at a very young age but didn't know others shared this experience too. Thank you George!
This video is the result of having the flu with a high fever, then falling asleep & uncomfortably having weird dreams.
Got the flu too currently. Feel better soon!
Should be top comment
Can confirm I swear I saw this video in a dream when I had the flu. But the weird thing is this is the first time I’ve seen this video or heard this song
I thinks it's more a result of that stuff Eric Clapton sang about...
I have weird dreams sometimes like this even when I'm feeling pretty good. But I really could use a good dream like this
His smile is contagious 😁so cute
When George first pops out of the carriage and says that beautiful, profound line, "I was so young when I was born," you can see the 'lady' pushing it turn 'her' head slightly and try not to smirk but sort of fail, god this is so pure
This song + this video = mood switch and instant bliss. Very few artists can convey the genuine joy of being alive like George, and it's contagious!
I can't believe I'm 56 years old and this is the first time I've heard this song. I like it. Thanks George.
Omg im 49 and the same wtfff
I saw this song today listed on a Billboard chart from 1977. It was the only song I didn’t immediately recognize. Once it started playing I remembered it. I’m 58.
62 and the same
I’m 70 and just heard it a couple months ago relieving my Beatle years and had never heard much of George’s solo career songs now I can’t get enough 😅
And the last I hope - what a load of shit
George is jaw dropping GORGEOUS. Physically, incredibly "beautiful" STUNNING EYE CANDY as well as a fine musician, song writer, producer, director, gardener etc. He was immensly gifted. Love you George.
i constantly find myself watching this at 3am and laughing my ass off but then sinking into depression cause my main man georgie is gone
Me too
Me three
I was so young when I was born
Depression caused by Alzheimer's?
You can't recall your own name!
It takes until 5am for me. Just found this one so for me George is back baby
🙏
Imagine if music videos were still like this
This the issue with the music industry lol.
