Hart is one of the most intimidating villains I've seen. The way he talks so calmly and makes his actions sound loving and polite, mixed with his mood swings and clear sociopathic nature makes a truly intimidating villain. And that's just his personality.
The Hopeful is so good. There was a kind of tension and genuine hatred I had for the Lovelies that I never had for the enemies of either Painful or Joyful. Even Buzzo I knew to have some backstory with Brad that at least explained his fuckedupedness if not justify it. But Hart...he just embodies every shitty quality of every bully and jock and 'alpha' you've ever met.
God, this version actually sends IRL chills down my spine. Full volume and earphones for best effect. It really captures the absolute horror and rage you feel at this moment. Spectacular.
"It's the things we love most that destroy us." I can say for a fact that the lovelies are the best and my favorite somewhat organized gang in gaming, period. Once you come to the conclusion that many of the members were forced to join, it speaks so much about Hart. Damn, a year later, and I come back to read this. What a wonderful concept! It would be like Beltboy sees that display as inner turmoil. So he takes it all in and just wants to fuck Hart up completely. I honestly think that it would give the "I need a friend" line much more sadness.
Pre-Yado-Crash lovelies were some of the most intimating jobbers I've seen yet, aside from the Rod Route all the gangs around including your own could only run and hope to not get chased by them again Heck... Nobody wants to fuck with Hart, not even his own men. Guy is actually somehow more brutal and fucked up than Buzzo Himself if every villain in the series is a mirror to the Apocalypse around them. Then without a doubt Hart represents the Sheer anarchy and return to Primal instinct that it brings along. Although different from the franchise due to the fact that it's not a free-for-all. It's an actual organized gang
I really like this track; it evokes me with... irony. Like Hart is disturbingly polite and softspoken, so contrasting with his deeply unsettling presence. I really, really like Hart as a character because of the absolute raw power he strikes me with. Not just physical, but a complete and utter lack of any fear, any simpathy. Only dominance, power, strenght. Inside his head, there is no possible universe where he does not obtain what he desires, the only one who could ever be at the top is himself. I love that. And I know he does too. Why, isn't it just lovely?
I love hating this antagonist. He screws you over so much and where it hurts the most. First he kills your boss, then has your friends raped, then he kidnaps and kills one of your friends and then killing the other. Even though he has his reasoning for his crusade(lack of being loved) I hate him and like his character. Glad he is finished off.
My GOD this game was unforgiving. Are there any guides on how to find all the secrets and what items to keep? I missed alot of shit and it made the game hell
