Katy's a master of faletto/head voice, she can flip from chest to head voice so easily and it always sounds amazing. She can let it out airy and smooth or add power to it, in my opinion her falsetto/head voice is her signature in her music and the best part of her voice. That's why her songs are hard to sing, she keep fliping from chest to head voice.Katy worked really hard on her vocals especially since her witness era, her high belt and vibrato drastically improved , now she can hold these powerful mid belt for longer and even add vibrato to it. I went to her Vegas residancy and she sounded absolutely incredible. Katycat forever ❤❤❤

She’s a very dramatic soprano which is why a let of people mistake her as a mezzo. In reality her lows are actually pretty weak. She just has a really big sound on her mid belts.
She’s a soprano that tries to add weight to her voice by lowering her larynx which is why her fifth octave belts have never been that great or consistent
@@summerwind919There is no such thing as a "light lyric" voice with darker timbre lol. She is an untrained potential lower soprano who chose to sing lyric mezzo
She has very nice, full mid belts. Like they’re shockingly good at times

Her runs so underrated 🔥
4:34 *D5, she raised the song one semithone higher
didn't know she can belt that high, but she sounds really tense on most of the ones above Eb5, i like her head voice
she could do whistle tones with some practice
7:50 Like cat being skinned alive
I love her C5 in ET at 3:54. She keeps it for more than 5 seconds??? wha---

Si se pusiera a entrenar las notas de silvido las podría hacer bien, aunque su voz naturalmente tiene un poco más de tendencia a ser dramática.
her highest is C#7 And E7
Those note doesn't count cause they're all esclamations and not controlled notes

How come she has a range of a soprano but her voice is like a mezzos one

This video is pretty poorly made btw there’s some notes that are mislabeled and some are shown as longer than what they are(some of the c5s and c#5s)
Anything above Eb5 sounds horrible
Feio e pouco kkk
not necessarily i really like 6:35 e5 and the first f5 but i agree about the belts above that
@@ran5476 A few Fs and F#s sounded good.
