Astaanmarg | Srinagar city's best sunset view point

Astaanmarg located on top of the zabarwan range offers one of the most beautiful viewpoints in srinagar.
It is around 25kms from the city centre and a drive uphill will lead you the Astanmarg hill revealing the panoramic view of srinagar and the dal lake.
You can get an aerial view of the srinagar city, dal lake, mughal gardens and the surrounding zabarwan mountains from here.
The best time to visit here in my opinion is during sunset. standing there and watching the sun go down is an incredible experience.
It is relatively a less crowded place and you should visit here if you like sunsets and want to have a birds eye view of Srinagar city.
