Lolll Hello There are only a few topics that are 100% calculator only topics. So I wouldn’t be comfortable categorising a topic as calculator or not calculator. Many are quite self explanatory, working with pi (when not leaving in terms of pi), using the quadratic formula (when solutions are in decimal form), using trigonometry (when not exact trigonometry) etc etc... I’ll consider it though in future revision videos 😁

Why is that TH-cam creators like this amazing person, can teach you so much more than your teachers? I’m in year 7 and the stuff you showed today makes total sense and I’ll probably be ready for higher maths gcse in year 8/9. In my homework I had 5+3 and I basically don’t learn anything in maths. The only time I learn maths is at home

@@whadiyatalkinabeett 😂 that’s the problem. I remember in Y6 I did no revision. Did ok in SATS. 2nd Set for pretty much every lesson. Y7 I started working somewhat hard. My hatred to school returned in Y8 and then lockdown which was good and I did the work but I rushed it and again was falling back off track. Did options and now in Y9 and I have to catch up and get on track to GCSE success. I’m on for a level 6 in English which is decent and I can’t remember the rest 😂 which probably isn’t great. Hope you find the time to study and I hope you get the GCSE Results you need.
I'm retaking maths in the next week to get a higher grade. My only issue with maths is retaining information, as I tend to forget how to work things out after a few days break!! Binging and force feeding my brain with these fantastic videos is actually making a difference, thank you so much for all your hard work - you've helped so many people!

Thanks for this. Had a miserable school experience and one result of that was failing my Maths GCSE. It made it hard to get jobs/apprenticeships, I am hoping that retaking it will help increase my potential and help draw a line under that period of my life. Could've done with something like this back then, but TH-cam barely existed at the time and there was a length limit on videos.

I have mine tomorrow and I'm doing last minute revision. What I did was a few days ago I watched half the video then did some questions and did other subjects. And now the day before the exam I'm revising the second hour. Don't stress because then you won't retain anything. Make a revision plan (trust me it helps) My problem was that I was procrastinating and didn't know what to do. After I planned for the exam I felt a lot better. Please please please don't overstress. Talk to people around you. You'd be surprised on how many people are going through the same thing. Lastly, don't listen to what other people are doing. Sure they may have started revising ages ago, but you're not them. We all make mistakes and you don't need to do more than they do. Work at your speed and dont pressure yourself. You're only human x Sorry for the rant haha.
Maths is pointless in later life, but it's not useless while beating the divide between the division of rich, poor.. School is a filter for the system, so around 75% of the students become employees not bosses there for putting more money 🤑💰 into the economy, that's why you gotta study, the system puts so much work on you so you have no breathing space to make you hate learning and exploration, school is not the correct knowledge my friend, there's far more interesting things to discover 🙏🌍🌎🌏❤️ wealth comes in many forms, happiness has always been one step away from you, Make sure you study well, beat the system push through.

i've been stuck in the wrong maths class (too low-level, very slow pace) for months now with my gcse mock exams coming up in january, and there's no way the class i'm in will be able to teach me everything i need to know before i take them, so i've taken it upon myself to just find my own resources outside of classes. you explain things clearly, but at a quick pace that keeps my attention--if i don't understand, i can rewind. this is hugely helpful. thank you.

I have been revising maths every day, doing 3 to 4 past papers and I have been trying really hard because I want to move tiers to higher. It will be difficult and I have acknowledged that it will take a lot of hard work and even if I do miraculously move up, I will have to learn the whole course in a short period of time, which is possible, but difficult. I want to move to higher so I can get a grade 6 so I can meet the entry requirements for A level science even though my science grades are good (what a fair world 😒) Do you have any tips? Thank you so much! And also why can't they make a tier that is in the middle that you could get a maximum grade 6 or 7. I would 100% be able to be in that set. I have mine tomorrow and I'm doing last minute revision. What I did was a few days ago I watched half the video then did some questions and did other subjects. And now the day before the exam I'm revising the second hour.
Don't stress because then you won't retain anything.
Make a revision plan (trust me it helps) My problem was that I was procrastinating and didn't know what to do. After I planned for the exam I felt a lot better.
Please please please don't overstress. Talk to people around you. You'd be surprised on how many people are going through the same thing.
Lastly, don't listen to what other people are doing. Sure they may have started revising ages ago, but you're not them. We all make mistakes and you don't need to do more than they do. Work at your speed and dont pressure yourself. You're only human x

Maths is pointless in later life, but it's not useless while beating the divide between the division of rich, poor..
School is a filter for the system, so around 75% of the students become employees not bosses there for putting more money 🤑💰 into the economy, that's why you gotta study, the system puts so much work on you so you have no breathing space to make you hate learning and exploration, school is not the correct knowledge my friend, there's far more interesting things to discover 🙏🌍🌎🌏❤️ wealth comes in many forms, happiness has always been one step away from you, Make sure you study well, beat the system push through.
Btw I'm in yr 8, I have alot of time ahead of me to push through, I might struggle in the future but I must keep going 🙏

i've been stuck in the wrong maths class (too low-level, very slow pace) for months now with my gcse mock exams coming up in january, and there's no way the class i'm in will be able to teach me everything i need to know before i take them, so i've taken it upon myself to just find my own resources outside of classes. you explain things clearly, but at a quick pace that keeps my attention--if i don't understand, i can rewind. this is hugely helpful. thank you.

I have been revising maths every day, doing 3 to 4 past papers and I have been trying really hard because I want to move tiers to higher. It will be difficult and I have acknowledged that it will take a lot of hard work and even if I do miraculously move up, I will have to learn the whole course in a short period of time, which is possible, but difficult. I want to move to higher so I can get a grade 6 so I can meet the entry requirements for A level science even though my science grades are good (what a fair world 😒) Do you have any tips? Thank you so much! And also why can't they make a tier that is in the middle that you could get a maximum grade 6 or 7. I would 100% be able to be in that set. It should be called ~highdation~ what do you think 😂

@@birdie7344 yes, do A LOT, I mean A LOT of past papers. Not only do you get used to the structure of exams but you realize what you need to work on. Don’t over work/ over stress yourself and start revising EARLY!!! I wish I had the opportunity to study much earlier
