I own 3 Giant Mouse knives (Jutland, Grand, Biblo XL). Honestly, they are all great. The Jutland is in green micarta and is probably my favorite knife I own. The Grand is in red micarta with a coated M390 blade and it was very easy to manipulate right out of the box. My Biblio XL is a Mast General store exclusive in a greenish/gray titanium. Its a beautiful knife but I haven't actually received it yet. Overall I love Giant Mouse's ACE line. Simplistic, elegant, and robistly built knives.
That Atelier (named after the bar in the Grand Hotel in Nuremberg that the Grand itself is named after!) is a beautiful knife. This is definitely on my short list of 'must buy' knives.
Went to my somewhat local knife shop in Fredrick MD looking for a really high-quality blade. The owner introduced me to the GM brand and immediately fell in love with the Nazca so I pulled the trigger. What an amazing knife. The quality of materials and workmanship is as close to perfection as I'd ever seen on a knife. About two weeks later I decided to just go ahead and get what I thought was knife nirvana, the mini Sebenza. Took it home and after looking at and playing with it for about an hour, I liked it but didn't love it. And if I'm going to spend that kind of money on something I'd better love it. The next day I returned it and went to the GM case. First I picked up the Tribeca in the blue denim and knew immediately I was getting that. But then I picked up the Atelier and loved that so much I got the carbon fiber version too. For less than one Sebenza I went home with two knives that for me are perfection and couldn't be happier. Next will be the Corta when the time is right. If you're thinking about getting a GM just do it, you won't regret it in the least bit.
I am from Denmark so, off cause, I love, love, love my Giant Mouse knives. The first one I got was the original Sonoma, made by Reate, which oddly needed a lot of tinkering to get the action right, I also changed the pocket clip. The Sonoma v2 was much better, action wise, out of the box. The Nazca ti is also in my possession, and pretty awesome. A couple of hours ago I ordered the micarta version of the Nazca and the red micarta and black stonewashed version of the Ace Grand. Lamnia has 40% off on a lot of Giant Mouse knives + other sweet deals at the moment, so if you are in Europe you might want to go and have a look.
I love giantmouse ace knives. My favorite is the sonoma v2. Great heatreat from reate. The jutland is great fit and finish too. The grand has terrible qc issues like bent liners etc.
Thanks for the info I’ll have to check my Grand and mini Grand out. I really really wish they would stop getting any of the knives made in Italy they are by far my least favorite knives, I’ve had so many issues with knives from Italy no matter what company makes them 👍🍻🍻
Jeff here brother. I use my wife’s account. Lol. I Work Building Maintenance here in East Lansing at MSU. The guys that developed and own Giant Mouse Graduated from MSU. Giant Mouse knives are located in East Lansing Mi. It was cool to meet their sales team.
I was excited for the Atelier until I saw the prices. Not sure what the price hike is due to. Their other Elmax knives such as the Clyde ($154), The Grand ($195), or the Riv in titanium ($190) were all well under $200. This is one being well over $200 was surprising to me.
@@Quagmire925 That may be but the titanium Atelier is almost $100 more than the previous models in titanium. Don't get me wrong, I love Giant mouse. Love the look and the design of this one. I want one, but cannot justify the price on it just yet.
@@timb4425 I can understand your point of view. I’m afraid knife prices will only continue to rise on new releases. Inflation goes right across the food chain so to speak. Manufacture, transportation, dealers and Giantmouse. Therefore 10% inflation becomes x4. 😢
Depends on what type of knives you like, I’ve been enjoying the Jutland and the Sonoma is a good all around edc and for a little big knife I love the Rev
I have the Giant Mouse Corta I bought in December 2023 and just purchased Kaizer Mad Tanto by Dam Designs . Last year I text Giant Mouse and asked if they're going introduce a button lock for 2024 I received a reply for a rep stating that in 2024 they were going to instead they introduced blue denim that design is old-fashioned. , maybe you can ask them I button lock this year 2024 making purchases with Kaizer they have flippers and button locks half the price My Corta was just under $200 Kaizer $90. Keep me posted thank you nice review
I could see those prices if Reate made and a ti liner. Not with Italy’s quality. That’s insane. Also insane oem steel liner locks with titanium frame’s coming from China as well are crazy high as well.

I like all the models on your table but the ace grand is more what I like in a knife but I personally don’t mind a big knife. Thanks for sharing bud
I love GiantMouse. I bought my first grail knife from them, the GMPX.
Love my gmpx as well! What number do you have?
@@Briandavidedc I got 021. It took me a while to find out though since they hid it so well on this model.
Love Giant Mouse knives. Happy to hear you’re working with them.
Yeah it’s always cool when I get to work with a company that I actually like 👌🍻🍻

All of those look fantastic. I will be adding one or more for sure.

I don't own any of those! They are great looking knives! May try one out!
I have a Nazca…great knife!
Awesome lineup. I only have the Ace biblio so far. Nice little knife.
Can't wait to see your review on the new Tribeca that dropped today. I've had the gm4 and that was fantastic. Keep the videos coming 👊
Cool!
Love Vox and Anso, can only dream of owning a GMP5 or GMP8 one day.
Those are beautiful knives 👌🍻🍻

The others we’re made when inflation wasn’t so high!

I would love to own one but…diminishing returns!!!
Good overview, they are all a little too small for me, but really a nice lineup
I have the tenacious in S35vn that will work very well for 1/2 the price
I love my S35vn Tenacious it’s my go to beater knife 👌🍻🍻
Nice review! Which one would you reccomend for my first Ace?

I hate all the Italian companies, it’s seems like the only thing that’s important to them is how the knife looks
