As for Kalluto, he is not transgender. He’s a guy and he identifies as a guy. Only later did it become something for girls only. He wears it because of his family’s outdated style.
In Japanese culture all demons/spirit possessions are referred to as males. Alluka is a girl but it's called a Male because of the demon/spirit. But those who have no problem with the entity call her a she.

IIrc I have not seen a single person in the HxD universe even trying to guess Nanika's gender. Also why would Alluka's parents refer to her as male even when she is not currently Nanika?
If the distinction was that easy, I am sure we would have been clearly shown that what you are claiming was the case.

Alluka is the I was born a boy but I'm a girl and wants to be treated as such. The only people that refer to her as him are everyone else in the family because they are a Assassins and the who cares about your feelings type of family. Granted they could be addressing her as a she is she were to be useful to the family as a formality but because they gain nothing from her she is treated as a monster. Because frankly the only person that can deal with Nanika is Killua everyone else just doesn't want or are incapable of emotionally dealing with her because aside from killua she is the most normal when it comes to emotional intelligence.

I'm actually still watching Hunter x hunter and am on the chimera ant arc which is taking me time because I'm getting bored because of its incredibly slow pace so I didn't know much about alluka. I only know from photos and clips on TH-cam and since she looks like a girl and is referred to as a girl by kilua I assumed she was a girl plus it doesn't really matter does it there are many characters in Hunter x Hunter whose gender is difficult to classify so everyone just assumes their gender as they want.
