When she and I met (we were 14) she legit looked me in the eye and asked, with a serious face, if I was a vampire.
I looked at her and asked why would she think that. "You're so pale even in the white shirt and skirt you're wearing, and I saw you had very sharp teeth when you said hi to me. Plus the red liquid you're drinking looks like blood! So are you a vampire?"
I stared her dead in the eye and growled with my mouth closed (I learned how to do that to play with my dog and scare my cats) she freaked and fell out of her chair, so I laughed and told her "No I'm not a vampire! My teeth are just naturally sharp, my skin is naturally pale, and the 'red liquid' is a strawberry energy drink I made this morning to help me wake up for the first day of this miserable year of school."
Now of course she's been my friend for years but she's still waiting for the day I bite someone's neck to get blood.

Our school organises foreign trips every year. I being from a lower class family who can't afford it never even told my parents about them. When I was in 6th grade there was a trip to Japan costing 2 lacks rupee (almost 3000 USD) one of the new admission said "isn't it too cheap, I bet they gonna make us stay at cheap hotels" and when she came to know not everyone was going, she didn't had a clue why?
i remember late 2016 and early 2017 when reacting channels had a huge soar in youtube and you became somewhat popular only to animation channels to ruin your guys chance at being popular youtubers

I grew up in a duplex, for those who don’t know that’s basically a normal one story that’s been split in half, so two doors, two backyards etc. me and my mother were poor, working five jobs poor. I had a iPhone 8 for at least 3 years, I never had a new screen and when I touched it glass would come out on my fingers and sometimes cut me.
I never asked my parents for a new one, I was so proud I got a iPhone I didn’t care what kind. My friend said “just buy one.”
I only asked my parents for a new one when I couldn’t use it anymore.
Some people really surprise me. Like, I know that most of my life I had maids, but like for some hours a day. But my mom always raised me and my siblings to clean after ourselves, like wash the dishes and clean our room. We also didn't always have maids so we had necessarily to do it sometimes. Besides, my family isn't exactly awefully wealthy. We litteraly grew up in a house that was kinda falling apart, still it was our home. And I always like to put my own dishes in the washing machine, it just doesn't feel right to wait for a lady to come pick it up and put it there herself, even if she insists it's her job and I shouldn't bother. My family's maid genuinely gets uncomfortable when I try to put my dishes in the washing machine and I don't get what the big deal is. I mean, I dirtied the dish, it's fair I put it there myself. Sometimes I feel like maids spoil us too much.

Growing up i remember thinking this how everyone else lives right? Middle in come house hold. Nice house, no money or food issues. When I started going to school I found that wasn't the case. I was very blessed to live that way.

The girl that threw away the change is me when I was 8. My mom asked me to go pay a pizza that she ordered and the change was 1 euro. I threw it in the garbage because I just didn't know what to do with it. My mom laughed after she realized I genuinely didn't know we were supposed to keep the change. Good times, the owners retired 4 years later, miss them ;-;
6:18 well in basically the rest of the world college is free. in my country it's like 600 dollars a year but the government pays for your apartment, food, etc.
