Only came across this channel today. Binging since. Reminds me so much of my oldest brother who passed earlier this year. He loved bargain hunting and reselling. He would even go into gamestop shops and offer customers selling games and consoles just little more than what the store would offer lol
The chairs at 6:20 are pure Danish midcentury 😊 try to look up Kai Kristiansen model 42, you will be surprised! I sell single chairs in Denmark like that for around 200 $ 🤑
Hi John and Whitney!!! So i sold my car that had the cassette player in it, the car i have now has a cd player. A guy at work was looking for some cassettes for his van, so i payed it forward and gave him the cassettes i had collected, he said he had a shelf all ready for them and they went to a good home. I did keep around 20 of the best ones...lol thanks for all the great deals u gave me on them, im looking for cds now...haha
Finding a Mario related nintendo GameCube game complete for a dollar is like finding a $50 bill on the ground they sell that easy if priced at market of course guaranteed sale in typically 12 hours or less
I really enjoy your channel. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences. I realize you get paid for your you tube videos but you share your knowledge and that is huge for someone like me who is trying to learn to get into this business.
I headed to a couple sales Friday, and had plans to go to the sales you went to Saturday but changed my mind. I found a few great things but so jealous , I didn't hit these sales. Great finds!
Good finds. Interesting the wheels! Pieces and parts of vintage or antique items to sell for those restoring things! Been reseller for years now and wow never thought of the pieces and parts
Good finds … fun fact … AC/DC used to play in a local Pub near my work in Melbourne when they first started up … I remember hearing it was like $5 to get in
I love your show, I live in Cincinnati, however ,the only problem I have is, could you please show the value of the merchandise that you got at the yard sale, to see how much it's really worth, I would love that, I'm learning a lot from you and your show how to pick,
Awesome Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars haul John.. That's a fantastic deal on all those vintage cars and they're all in really good condition.. Also love that Steve-O signed shirt that's awesome..😂 Well done.. Stay safe all..👍💕🔥⚾😷
Damn that folder of pokemon cards that was behind the yellow card box @ 4:08 is worth around $250 its a Pokemon Neo Discovery Premium File that has a rare Charizard promo card in it!
just a heads up...on those diecast cars you bought...the dates on the bottom does not always denote that its from that year...it could be stamped 1969 and be from 1975...hope this helps...i hate to see you get messed up with an early date code where its a significant time later when the model was made
I think that light bulb is a Metal Halide bulb and would be used in a stadium or basketball gym type place. they are around 1000 watts and see for around $20.00. I could be wrong. I am just going by what I am able to see in the video.
Nice finds as usual. I noticed in the first matchbox box there looked like a tan or brown van. Is it a VW bus? Possibly a vanagon 1981, it should have a motorcycle on the back. I would be interested in it if you want to sell it separate. I will keep an eye out for it on your eBay store. God Bless.
That bulb is still available. It's for a parking lot pole lights. If memory serves me it's a Mercury Halide or Mercury Vapor bulb. Old maintenance man knowledge.
I have found 5 Coleco 1981 table top games and was wondering how to clean the dirt from the stickers with out damaging the sticker. Anyone with ideas??
FYI , you cant tell the year of a Hot Wheels by the date on the bottom. That is a copyright date as the car may have been changed many times since it's original release.
@@friedhockeyboogieman3215 you cant always tell by the wheels either as some produced till today have old blackwall style wheels on them such as Target and other store exclusives. You've also got matchbox using higher line hot wheels tire/wheels on some of their higher lines.
I love you John & have learned tons from you. You do a good job with wifey in tow. It seems she buys for personal use only. I would be Kind of distracted but you stay on your game🙂
As a collector of matchbox and hot wheels. The date on the bottom is just the year the casting was made not the year it was made. Many wiki pages have the casting lists. But a buck a car is accurate for common cars. Redlines were made well into the 70s but it is when the spectraflame paint was being used that make them special. And even then, the ones worth even more were made in the US. However, I always have said collecting them is cheaper than a beer, but I know I'm lying 🤥. I'll shut up now. 😂
The year on the bottom is the first year they are licensed, so a 2020 car still says 1970- something on the bottom, if it is a casting that is used before
Man, I would have thrown that wallet at them, grabbed those cases of cars and ran, 😂!!! Those cases can go for $40 or more empty with the holders inside! And individual cars on Hot Wheels depending on if they were Hong Kong or Malaysia manufactured determines pricing. Great haul!!!
Light bulb that you said is old and huge it's called an Edison bulb they're very expensive and very worth the money in my opinion I still haven't gotten my hands on one yet but I know plenty of people that buy them they're worth a pretty penny dude good luck flipping it
That’s not an Edison bulb. That is a modern metal halide bulb. It’s not old but it is also not real cheap. If it is new and working it would sell for about $35.
@@chappy675 I hate to piss in your fruit loops but that's an Edison bulb I googled it myself and I've seen Edison bulbs that big and they're even longer too

That hanging bird thing your wife got at the first sale I bought one similar but on a stake. Yard art
