Can anyone shed some light on to the program that is used or technique and how is it possible to cut video feed so precisely (around turntables etc)? Thanks a bunch ;o)
There's a fetish for vinyl because it's increasingly less used and the 'underground' house/techno scene perceives it, along with other analogue hardware, as a more authentic expression of the music, in comparison to the digital, mass produced hardware of today (CDJs, computers etc). It's pretentious but it is what it is.
Hmm. I see. It's strange to me because this is 2017. No one wants to go back to cassette tape or land line phones right? I understand the nostalgia but a lot of these vinyl only types really come down on modern DJ technology....which is strange because most of them make TECHNO which is short for 'technology'. You would think they would adapt. Is it the fault of the individuals who adapted that the event planners will book just about anyone today or put anyone in front of a boiler room camera. I have heard terrible vinyl sets as well as terrible digital sets. All's fair. A good set is a good set no matter where it came from.
Also, it is way harder to play on vinyl than playing on CDJs or software. Also, it makes tune selection more valuable since you can't bring with you hundreds of tracks. However, all forms of djing have to be appreciated in my opinion.
Geez, the guy has great track selection, tight mixes, and he's playing vinyl. No sync, no computer, no bullshit. Just honest djing. What more do you want him to do up there?
Oscar obviously the read is not representing exactly what is the reality. Do nto acuse for stealing a person tat produces over 300 in 16 years only for a wronly used sample. Wait to listen both sides before you go hate, Friednly yours.

Bad Ass Yo!!!!
good set but are the tracks somehow better cuz they are on vinyl? why is it a big deal when DJs do vinyl only sets?

so if its harder to play, and you bring less music to play, that somehow that makes the music and your set better? ok.
busywl69 If they dj is good, the set will be as good as a cdj set but it’ll deserve more credit and it’ll have that oldskool touch we love
Three decks are spinning, but barely two are playing at same time. And that sampler is there for what?

Oscar Mezzo only because he’s better than you
Chris Hewitt shut up ignorant mixmag.net/read/mihalis-safras-accused-of-plagiarism-by-multiple-producers-news
