Steampunk workstation consisting of a computer table, a computer, a monitor, a modified IBM model M - keyboard and a wireless mouse. The table was build from an old Singer sewing machine. The wood was completely reapplied (the patina retained). Three compartments provide storage space for small items. The PC was installed in an old wooden radio cabinet. - บันเทิง

One of the best steampunk designs I've ever seen. Even the monitor looks appropriate for the theme, which usually looks out-of-place on other designs I've seen.
This is because CRT monitors are the only type that properly fits with this design theme. Also, your choice of printer can be limited at times for the same reason.

Lots of food for thought there! I have a Singer treadle base and several old valve radios, clockwork movements and tons of assorted suitable junk. Seeing this has inspired me to put some of it together...

what is the mouse made from? I'd love the details as I want to do a Steampunk build myself and the mouse is the part I'm having most trouble with.

I've only just become aware of steampunk after I went to a tailor to get a suit altered because it was starting to drag under my heels and my belly button showed through the fly and he said I looked the part and should just let Nature take it's course.

Super late to the comment party, but, I'm mulling over the thoughts of doing a steampunk space heater. It's currently one of those that have the fake flames in the background, I'm sure that's a red or orange led back there with a disk that spins around it creating a shadow pattern. I'm thinking of changing the colour of the led to green or blue and running some banding around the outside with loads of rivets and such. I may add some crystal elements to the outside as well with recessed leds behind them. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Well I could suggest a couple of brass and some aged copper jugs with green streaks too and a brass and leather bellows to blow the heated air out. You can get quite large LED candles with a flicker effect......the list goes on.
I reckon you could concoct a wind apparatus driven by a Stirling Cycle hot air machine and have some iron work with rivets too.

That said, the better question might be "Can it run Half-Life?". Reason being - that game lends itself well to steampunk-themed electronics.
