Looking like hawkeye is kind of strong in hell content, but I think it was always decent in hell content. The gap between the classes is really in normal content when the bosses are phasing constantly and hawkeye can't compete against classes that can dish out their damage faster. Is there any improvements for hawkeye for normal content or is it still the same? Asking for someone who mainly plays normal content and not that much hell content.
it got buffed overall , so normal content its doing well too , but Sharpshooter in general doesnt have a build where it can do "massive" burst , its more of an inbetween , and thats just how the class is designed . the cooldowns are shorter , but the trade off is the dmg is also lower . So its situational as to what u can do .
It doesnt look that bad, solid gameplay, still straight DS vibes. I wonder if you think it would be viable to swap your D skill with moving slash, since i really feel it has significant value in terms of reposition for SS , and , from what i see, you are not using the dagger that much for meter. Am i wrong? Even evasive fire would be dope..i love that skill.
thats what im running now . if i do death strike in hell modes , No counter spell . in order for deathstrike to be somewhat Sustainable or more reliable its better to take 2 silver master spells at least , if the boss jumps and ur one and only SM spell misses ... ur screwed for the next rotation too cause my meter wont come back . Evasive only works well for loyal companion , SS now has tripods based on if ur hawk is summoned or not and Evasive got tripods for LC ... so no reason to bring it on DS The only time deathstrike feels ... somewhat horrible is when the boss does a i guess unpredictable pattern that evades ur Silver master Spell . missing Dmg spells are fine but missing ur Silver meter generation one ... that carries over to ur next deathstrike and forces u to wait again . So the build now requires u to really think carefully on what spells to throw out and when ... it's fun in a sense that it's interactive and makes the player think more before they chuck ds now , but also very punishing .
@@Tofuen thanks for the clear answer. i m glad i brought up this topic. So as far as i understood i can and i will play it with moving slash instead of deadly slash. I wonder if the new spell have a silver master tripod, so when you talk about DS being reliable with 2 silver master you include the new one plus, in this case, moving slash. If that's the case i would definitely play like that. Last but not least....is it really bad to swap claymore mine with deadly slash, in order to generate meter safer, keeping oldschool deathstrike vibe? Or it s a huge dps loss? As you can see i m trying to dream a world where i can keep my actual gameplay ( that i love ) and adapting it to the new challengy restrictions, which honestly i like it. Let s be honest, spamming Blade Storm in the void didnt feel that skilled to me ✌️😅 Thanks again, respect from Italy
Hawkshot which is the new skil and moving slash is somewhat ur safest bet for meter . But this is only the case if ur playing claymore . Claymore basically slightly below what arrow wave does since it has no crit rate built in and is a headatk skill ( hitmaster doesn't affect it ) The reason people actually even used claymore is because they want to beat spec LCs burst dmg window , even then wi1th claymore spec Lc can still come up on top in terms of average burst because its more consistent . Ds is fine overall even without claymore and way smoother to play too , just that its overshadowed by Spec Lc since that build literately does what ds can do but better and easier .
@@Tofuen Thanks for all these useful info, totally makes sense, all SS should be passionate about these small details, trying to find the right balance for their fav gameplay, instead of complain or run for the "most dmg" option imho. Based on that i guess i ll stick with DS and i will try the Moving Slash + Hawk Shot combo for meter , with Claymore as new entry in the dmg kit, fuck the knife, i never liked that... i have a bow 🤸 Meanwhile i ll think about an alternate LC set, just to try it out and feel if i like that kind of gameplay which obviously sounds more consistent. If it s funny, i may switch, otherwise all good with Ds. Stay in touch
Why not just use the amplified damage ability on the sharpshooter skill and not need atomic arrow or rapid fire. So you can have another skill like DM 42 inside of death strike.
that's one of the theories i tested too quite recently , but the problem with dm42 is the Cooldown . You lack the resources to make dm42 work with the rotation because u dont have enough dmg gems and cooldown too , even if u precast it before deathstrike the dmg isn't worth it since the cooldowns too long to be used with DS combo .
Hey Tofuen! Is spec still necessary for DS? Im not entirely sure about the patch notes but I recall they made the meter gen a fixed amount? Basically my question: do i still need to run spec on bracelet as DS or can you go full crit/swift?
From what i tested , u only ever need a bit of spec 120 - ish if ur running lvl10 cd gems and ur swiftness is reaching that 1000 + value .. because at that point ur snipe cooldown is like 13 secs already or 14 and Silver master from 1 spell wont cover it , unless u wanna play 2 silver master tripods ( losing dmg tripod ) .. technically that works with no spec . Anything below this value u dont need spec to build ur meter back
I think claymore as second skill used is not that good since it reposition a lot backwards for the x3 spells that has to be closer . Maybe its better to use claymore as last spell. Still i prefer loyal companion but i know ds does more damage specially in hell content .
Lc is doing better in Hell content now , especially after the changes . Only charging shot requires u to be close , this rotation format was more of a experimental one with Rage rune on dagger slash and claymore for a double chance to proc the atk speed increase
yeap , Adrenaline isn't bad of a replacement for CD , but ur burst drops in place for more swiftness and ... at 900 or 1000 u can see in the video , u encounter Mana problems already
@@monzkiii4868 i would say ... generally the build flows smoothly ? Until a boss decides to be an absolute pain the ass ... it could feel screwed as hell
Your rotations are so clean. Very nice gameplay

Do you run 6 piece salvation or 6 nightmare? If having mana issues and running salvation is it viable to run 4 salvation 2 nightmare?
Could you make a video to show us the new Sharpshooter build (LC and DS) for relic acessories?
