This is a great example of perfectly REAL music; it is beautiful--goes through your soul and touches your bones, while enhancing any mood and likely creating a thoughtful one of it's own!
michael scott I'm my town tomorrow maybe. Sadly her Grandfather died a few days ago. So I'm hoping to see her but not sure if it will happen. But I couldn't name them if they Dont make it.
This girl is astonishing and should be a huge star, BUT she doesn't do bubblegum country nor country rap (the c is silent in rap!) so probably won't get the exposure she deserves. I just love her voice and her phrasing and the way she sings, so sock it to 'em Emi!
Gorgeous. She should hear HANK WILSON IS BACK version. She would knock it out the park It’s actually the legendary Leon Russel disguised as Hank Wilson and his arrangement with some beautiful major sevens and strings yet still as haunting as the song needs to be. Check it out
You are so cool EmiSunshine! To perform with such great legends and stay so calm. Stay true to yourself, to God, stay pure and stay gold. BTW, Hang out with Rhonda as much as possible, she is a great mentor! I would love to have you (and Rhonda!)on my show anytime (THE OSMOND HOUR)! contact me @ tom@mybnr.com
Girl....let me give you some good advice. Stop doing covers. Do your own music. That's what sets you apart.....don't fall into that trap....perform your own material. That's your true gift. That tune is way gone. So sad and depressing. Your hard driving original stuff is the bomb. Don't waste your time. Do your own stuff. Be your own young lady. Do what Dolly did. If you don't like it. Hit the road. Your loaded with God given talent. Don't need to play anybody's music but your own. In this tune your just going through the motions...your own music is full of passion, drive and perfect pitch. Give it to em with both barrels....Big hug.
No matter the genre of music, this is how great music lives on, forever. Beautiful and genuine, from the heart💜🎵
Emi old hank sr would be so proud of you and your version of this song the hair on my back stood on edge
Emi has a beautiful voice. She sings the music that I and so many others grew up with. I hope that people continue to support her art.
"Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes"? Emi...

She has been offered lots of money to switch to pop-country and turned it down.
Gorgeous. She should hear HANK WILSON IS BACK version. She would knock it out the park It’s actually the legendary Leon Russel disguised as Hank Wilson and his arrangement with some beautiful major sevens and strings yet still as haunting as the song needs to be. Check it out

Girl....let me give you some good advice.
Stop doing covers.
Do your own music.
That's what sets you

That's your true gift.
That tune is way gone.
So sad and depressing.
Your hard driving original
stuff is the bomb.
Don't waste your time.
Do your own stuff.
Be your own young lady.
Do what Dolly did.
If you don't like it.

your own. In this tune
your just going through the motions...your own
music is full of passion,
drive and perfect pitch.
Give it to em with both
barrels....Big hug.
Take that advice and do your own songs.
This song is PERFECT ! Every generation needs to keep it going.
I think the point of this episode is to pay tribute to the past, then present one of your own songs.
Amen!
