ps: i don't know if it's an head cannon or not but the flower feather clan (chasca's tribe) is still a lot tied with the element of anemo , since there whole deal with the Ququsaurs who are big flying birds, for me it is more of a pyro infused wind that's the main attacks of the members of the tribes and the Ququsaurs, we can see that on Chesca too since it is the first character who can deal multiple types of damage electro, cryo, hydro, and PYRO, since it matches all the elements that can be used for the swirl reaction with anemo, also the surians of the hydro tribe can swin in lava, the saurian of the geo tribe can dig in big fire crystal named Phlogiston and the anemo saurians eat firy explosive fruits, and over all every saurians uses Phlogistonto move. (sorry for all that rumbling)

I feel like they went with modern because they didnt want to bother incorporate more cultutral accuracy to the designs, if they did it like your Anemo Miku I would have been more interrested in pulling for the Natlan cast. So far Xilonen (which I got) who is aztec and afro-brasilian inspired and Iansan Yoruba inspired are genuinely interresting to me. Anyway very good video, I plan to stick around more ahah, nice discovery!

And although I do love the characters that Genshin has come up with I'd like to state that this is the best design I've seen. Especially when incorporating the cultures natlan was based off of. Your Miku is the type of esthetic/ design I was most hyped for back in beta.

Because legit I can imagine miku likes to dance the most if she was placed in natlan and her way to bring those joy to those close to her And the way you implemented her into lore is so good!
She is so cute! And I love the added detailing of the Natlan styled street-graffiti/comic-print stuff with the splash art. Her kit sounds so fun (though I forgot she's supposed to have a sword). I feel like she might have a "generate energy/nightsoul better" passive talent. That kind of fits with the dancer aspect. Definitely don't need another local specialties passive. Not sure what aspects of an art challenge you want to keep (whether the Genshin or vocaloid part stays or completely different), but pick project themes that aren't too big you'll get sick of. Like I'd love to see the rest of the major vocaloids in Genshin, but I would never ask for 7 nation variants for each. Nor for you to go past the main Project Diva advertised ones into more obscure ones like IA, Avanna, Cul, Daina, Merli, Maika, Mo Qingxian, Alys etc because that's about 40+ more characters (thank you random college project for cursing me with this knowledge). Overall, I recommend your other natural obsessions for inspiration. Like me, I'd be putting the Shantae cast into Genshin. If it's more of 'thing in Genshin" again, easy cross over choices would be Sailor Moon; Miraculous Ladybug; human versions of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic; human gijinkas of Animal Crossing NPCs (don't tell me Isabelle wouldn't be adorbs); human versions of Sonic characters (Charlotte is just human Amy change my mind, and Natlan Knuckles would be perfect); Disney (princesses or heroes); Pokemon gijinkas (Eeveelutions, some starters, your random favorites, etc); DC/Marvel superheroes (main known ones or your personal favs, keep it under a dozen). I do recommend though "Winx in Genshin", if you like that IP, since there's a lot of reboot rumors going around, and people are naturally doing their own redesigns already the last couple of months. So the algorithm would like you a lot.

Maybe also the Sailor Scouts as Vision Holders? Some of them are much easier to apply since they do have elements to some of them Maybe even design skins for traveler based on each region? Or maybe what the Archons would be like if they switched elements instead?

All of your designs are gorgeous but I have one small complaint about most of your Miku There lore doesn’t exactly match the "vision lore" If you want every character with a specific element have in their lore a part that matches the archons Anemo characters lost someone they love Geo characters are leader or one the most important part of an organization Electro characters are social outcasts Dendro characters I don’t personally know Hydro characters have a public activity and a more secret one Pyro characters are the legacy of their family or a business And cryo characters are the strange ones, the ones that feels out of place
I did say that I was leaving that up to interpretation since I didn't feel like my idea was super interesting, haha 😅but yes, she lost someone and it's the main reason why she views dance in a different way compared to when she was a child.
This is just a theory, and an unconfirmed one at that. The vision lore doesn't exactly line up as well. We know of no friend death happening to Lan Yan, I do not recall kachina being a leader or important part of their organization. I wouldn't call a maid like Noelle an important part of the Knights of Favonius, or a leader.
...what? The element of the saurian is the element of the tribe. Chasca's tribe, the flower feather clan, has a qucusaur or smth and it has pyro infused attacks, meaning that chasca's tribe is the pyro tribe
Natlan's lore seems a little scattered between the manga and game, so I discarded the manga for the new design and only focused on what's ingame. The Flower Feather Clan is more Pyro themed than anemo, so I did have to change Miku's design and color theme so she'd fit more.

This is just a theory, and an unconfirmed one at that. The vision lore doesn't exactly line up as well. We know of no friend death happening to Lan Yan, I do not recall kachina being a leader or important part of their organization. I wouldn't call a maid like Noelle an important part of the Knights of Favonius, or a leader.
Also the cryo thing, how Mika strange? Citlali? Ayaka? How is Beidou a social outcast? What about keqing?
Chasca is from the anemo tribe. The pyro tribe was the one that got enslaved to Mondstadt's nobility.
...what? The element of the saurian is the element of the tribe. Chasca's tribe, the flower feather clan, has a qucusaur or smth and it has pyro infused attacks, meaning that chasca's tribe is the pyro tribe
@lovelylion1220 The saurians of the scions of the canopy use pyro-infused attacks as well. However, they are more connected to dendro than pyro.
Natlan's lore seems a little scattered between the manga and game, so I discarded the manga for the new design and only focused on what's ingame. The Flower Feather Clan is more Pyro themed than anemo, so I did have to change Miku's design and color theme so she'd fit more.
