Thank you so much, Gaby, for those fantastic tips! Your clear and understandable explanations of why we need to follow these techniques make them so much easier to remember and apply. I really appreciate the effort you put into making complex ideas accessible. Thanks again! 🎾
Great video again. My issue is the forward swing and bringing the non dominant arm to which causes unbalance and timing. I do a quick right to left tuck often. Could you elaborate how the off arm should move?
Hi!! I think that everybody has different styles. And there’s not a mold that works for everyone. There’s a lot of different backswings on the ATP tour. So you gotta find what feels more natural to you. I definitely think an abbreviated motion where the racket doesn’t go too far back is always beneficial tho!
Good video. Another example is the acute takeback of the racquet of many players in the WTA, which creates tendency to hit late and also impacts the loop. Most ATP players use a shorter takeback which is better, provides for more consistency and allows for a better loop.
Always appreciated but I don’t think the conventional upright racket take back in the unit turn makes much sense in terms of simple and effortless movement if the racket position before the forward stroke is going to be neutral high or low but parallel to the ground. It makes sense if it’s the classic Djokovic take back where the tip stays up but any other variation makes the upright take back seemingly superfluous. Watch Sinner take back and racket is almost immediately moving towards a horizontal position to prep for his flip. I’m not sure if the top of the loop in the take back is active in any way.
Wow - this is excellent. Thank you very much.
Excelente clase 👏 otra vez Gaby, gracias!

Ótimo vídeo para simplificar a batida do forehand.
Thanks for this information, Gaby.
Is it possible for you to do a video explaining the racket drop base on the various racket grips? Thanks.
Will try soon! :)
What’s your opinion of the Next Gen ATP forehand??? Do you think club players should try using it????

Agreed!! Have another video coming on how to fix that mistake. Great comment! Thanks!

Hello :) Sinner’s forehand is the perfect example actually of a simple unit turn and drop. Which is exactly what I’m explaining here :)
What about the newgen takeback like Sinner, for example,.
It’s great! Very effective!
Great ; The right start is chruchual for the rest .
I would think women would like this outfit. It's perfect for fall.
Thank you!
Maybe you can talk about when too drop the racket strings down in back
