I would like to think that Astelle is a small nod to Shion seeing how she gets along with KOS-MOS almost too well and the fact she's wearing glasses. But that's just me.

The RNG is so annoying that even with 10 Legendary cores all I get is a 3 star grunt... I still have 8 other Blades to unlock through core crystal and yet not one of them is lucky

Legendosaur V.A. assuming you're at the 7th perimeter skyport, head to towards the end of the walkway (or if you're looking at the map the Salvage Point farthest away from the world tree) it's just a bit past the maze like walls with the Indoline loyalists. You should see a quest icon but with triple ?'s, everything after that is pretty clear though
I tried that and nothing happen. That's kind of why I voiced my concerns to begin with. Maybe there's some other criteria I haven't met, like unlocking abilities for her or whatever. I'm pretty sure you have to do that with Praxis as well.

technically yes, in xenosaga she derives power from the zohar (the conduit as its called in XBC), the zohar is a direct link to the power of U-DO/The Wave Existence, which is where the Architect resides, so although she is not an Aegis in the truest sense, she has the same power as one (technically she is Kadomony in the way that Kadomony is the computer that takes the power of the zohar to operate deus aka the Zohar-Kadomony-Deus system)

It was nice seeing KOS-MOS in a new game, but not too please that it had to be this one. Not a big fan of the overall aesthetic and I definitely think the art style of the first game was vastly superior. Also, I'm not too crazy about her voice. Such a far cry from Bridget Hoffman. At least she's still voiced by Mariko Suzuki in the Japanese version. Caitlin Thorburn just leaves a lot to be desired, personally. I can appreciate the reference to Shion with Astelle, though. Also, what was up with the pronunciation of KOS-MOS?
I mean, she was just wearing her Version 4 design from the third game so I have no real problem with her there aside from my overall issues with that design. My favorite KOS-MOS design is Version 2 so that should give you an idea on my aesthetic preferences.

she has to be at level 4 affinity, has to be in the party and I did mine during the day so I don't think there has to be a specific time
