The defense that it takes time to change characters is so lame. Like yes it does take Blizzard ages to do these incredibly simple changes for some reason. That is true. But it shouldn't. The roadhog "rework" or the Sombra "rework" should have been done within a week tops. Those weren't even reworks. Hog was + trap and + dva style apple. Sombra was + virus and + instant translocator. How does that take months of work? Something needs to change at that company they take waaaaay to long to do so little. Idk if they are just in their heads to much redesigning these reworks like 87 times before release or if it's a management problem where you have to go through 17 layers of management to get a simple color change but whatever the problem is it doesn't matter. Gamers don't give a shit. Fix your game or kick rocks we won't sit around forever waiting.

Someone should tell samito, it's a bad way to promote 6v6 by saying it's better for reaper and sym and 5v5 is better for echo 😂
Even if it's not true or hes a painting a very small picture, the statement on its own is just bad pr for 6v6 because reaper and sym are some of the most problimatic and hated heros in ow, and you compare that to 5v5 with echo who is honest and beloved by many as a better version of pharah, I mean I think most people rather have echo being played than reaper or sym, so maybe dont use them as examples, use rein as that gets alot of people on your side 😂

Reaper is so mid, Junkrat is a better reaper than reaper. I mean reaper has no ranged ability he's exclusively a cqb character. Whereas junk is close to mid range. He can mess you up in close spaces but can also gatekeep by spamming mid range. The fact that he handily beats reaper in CQB being that reaper has no other talent blows my mind.
You know the reasons they won't go back on 6v6 it's literally the last thing that makes OW2, OW2 without 5v5 this is OW1 lol. It's the only defining feature they have left since they shit canned everything else OW2 was suppose to be.
I don't listen or watch podcasts at all but when I see a title saying discussing DPS I really want to assume that the people are going to be discussing why DPS people are the most annoying part of the game since they are the reason role cues exist in general but since that's not happening I don't see a reason for me to watch this video

The comment Spilo made that we should leave Winton alone balance wise, I do think they should buff his melee damage slightly. It makes 0 sense that a giant gorilla does the same amount of melee damage as a grandma with a sniper.

Hanzo feeling crap without the oneshot is a fundamental design flaw with him. Same with Widow. It means his design is too shallow, not that one-shots make it fun. They make the character work because he has nothing else to diversify or fall back on. Thats dps as a whole I feel, theyu're all too basic in their kits, too many duplicate damage abilities not enough utlity and options.
No, They're Snipers by design if you try and buff things around them and take away their oneshot they'll just feel like worse versions of other characters.
Like how hanzo feels like a worse Cassidy.
@@coal159 Wrong hes a bow and arrow hero by design. His identity doesn't (and frankly shouldnt) only be a oneshot. Give him a bag of arrows that have different utility like his sonic arrow. Why doesnt he have an ice arrow to slow targets or a burn arrow to tick damage over time? Scatter arrow, boop arrow, anti heal arrow ANYTHING. Dps as a role is just "heh i do damage but with a BATTLE RIFLE instead of a REVOLVER". Like the hero's should feel more unique and have more utility in their abilities. Why is this so hard to understand???
@@coal159 Which is what makes them badly designed characters. They took the one-shot away from Sojroun, guess what, she's still amazing because she has much more depth to her kit. Basically snipers and one-shots as an industry trend are out and appealing to a more general audience is in.
Lok at the recent DPS hero and pahrah rework. Basically less mechanical skill for the same amount or more damage then any sniper. The old hero designs of OW1 have just aged badly and they're just not updating them quick enough. Some of them, like Widow, are just unfixable, might as well canonically kill her and have someone related to her step in with some new ideas.
@@Juniper___ I am a Hanzo main, I do not want Gimmick Arrows, I just want to shoot arrows into peoples heads and feel good about it, It's not a design flaw he's just a sniper.
He felt unique enough when he wasn't forced to rely on Storm arrows to secure kills, Now he's just a worse pick.
@@Octovol Sojourn was Triple-S tier with her one shot, Of course toning it down isn't going to gut the characters identity, Hanzo's always been B-A Tier in ladder and a somewhat picked character in Pro.
He wasn't an overly dominant hero that gets value for shooting the tank like sojourn does.
Now the only thing he can do is try to burst down tanks with Storm Arrows, The kit was fine how it was beforehand they just pushed him into a pit of garbage when they buffed storm arrows and took his one shot away.
Bring back hanzo one shot!!!

120 damage per shot (primary fire nerf)
3 mines on a 7 sec cooldown
So he can at least kill pharahs again
This whole idea of bringing back one shots is so stupid. Widow should be the ONLY character with a one shot. Just because she has it doesn’t mean other characters should have it too.
Hanzo should also have his one-shot
Lmao Hanzo originally had it. It’s a projectile vs hitscan. Hanzo projectile are the hardest to hit so it’s fair for him to have it back
@@danielkassie5650 that has to be the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. What does a character originally having it have to do with whether it SHOULD be in the game. One shots are toxic. At least a widow actually needs to have her crosshair on you.
And who cares how hard it is to hit. Sleep dart is hard to hit. Imagine if they game it a minute long cool down but it one shot anyone who it hit? Is that balanced? No.
Hanzo shooting logs across the map that one shot is not balanced when literally ANYTHING else about his kit could be buffed
