I read "Maybe you should talk to someone" and I really enjoyed it. It's definitely about therapy, but it's not super in-depth about psychology or mental illnesses. It's more introductory about what therapy can accomplish and helps different people. Hopefully that helps!

Meal prepping my lunches has honestly been a life saver for me! I just have to grab something whenever I need it. I usually keep about 3 different options. It has made packing my lunches for work so much easier!

I completed 75 Soft this spring because it was more realistic for me than 75 Hard, and it was so motivating and such a great jump start to maintaining better habits for me. I’m excited to see you conquer 75 Hard!

There’s a whole rundisney races rabbit hole you can go down if you’re looking for a fun way to do a race or something. My sister hates running but puts up with it to do those races because they run through the parks. Also I’ve seen people power walk them too 🖤

Dude the food equation is soooooo much harder than the working out one. I can workout everyday or almost everyday but eating healthy and meal planning can be so challenging

I lowkey used to hate running when I was younger and then discovered as an adult that I don't actually hate running, I just had badly managed exercise-induced asthma and overly-floppy ankles that gave me shin splints and running made both of those things flare up. Once I found the right pre-treatment for my asthma and went to PT for my ankles, I figured out I actually love to run. I'm not fast, I'm not doing it for anything, I just like it, so welcome to the club. The only reason I don't do it more is because I'm a horseback rider/am usually at the barn four to five days a week and I can't do both on the same day, lol.

Audiobook completely change how I felt about running. I used to think I hated running but discovered last year that i just hated it while listening to music. I just pop a good audiobook and now do 5km several times a week. 😊

oh that's funny! i'm the opposite! maybe it's because books are my job but i like my exercise to be devoid of books. but i genuinely love that for you

I feel like we are almost exactly on the same health journey right now. I started changing up my diet and taking exercise more seriously in May cause I wanted to lose 20 pounds. Just like you, I have never been interested in running, very vehemently hated it, and was not able to run for even 1 minute if I tried. My friend convinced me to start 2 months ago, and I went from running a 13 min mile to now an 8 min mile, and I love it. I genuinely feel healthier, and I think it's a major contributor to how I have been able to lose my last 15 pounds.

fyi, it can make you way more prone to running injuries if you’re at a caloric deficit. it’s high impact and form matters a lot and that can start to falter if you’re not eating at least maintenance calories.

I hated running but started dating a guy who ran. I wanted to be involved so started slowly running also (we broke up shortly after) and honestly I loved it. I may have kept it up out of spite but the freedom of it was amazing. I could listen to podcasts (and now audiobooks) and have time to myself. I think you’ll really love it.

I like the hair color dimension. I’d say the highlights have an orange tint, use a blue shampoo!! So good for brunettes with highlights bcus we always pull orange 🙃 the struggle!

I ran track and field throughout my childhood so (unfortunately) I am a runner and it’s my preferred form of exercise. I’m not so good with distance but I’ve been maintaining my every other day mile runs! On my non run days, I go on a hot girl walk outside for 2 miles and honestly it feels amazing. I’ve been so proud of myself!
I’ve also challenged myself to read a nonfiction book for 15 minutes every day.. and although I’m failing, I am reading more nonfiction. I just finished Killers of the Flower Moon bc I wanted to watch the movie and wow. I loved the book. So so so sad though. Know My Name by Chanel Miller was my all time fav non fiction book I read last year and it really taught me that it’s possible for me to like reading real life shit.
Happy for you and excited to see what you learn with these new books 🎉

You can also listen to Peter Attia on the Huberman podcast. That podcast in general is a great health/fitness podcast.

I cant get into running I tried so many times. My go to cardio is jumping fitness, so cardio on mini trampolines, but I think its more common in europe 😅

I once succeeded a 75hard challenge and the hardest part was actually taking a picture, because it was too easy so it was most likely to be forgotten. For the diet i did 16/8 intermitten fasting. After the 75 days you'll really feel like you got your shit together. I lost about 14lbs, but gaint a lot of muscle as well. I highly recommend trying it.

Highly recommend a couch to 5k app. I haven’t run in years but when I was trying to get into it, couch to 5k built around interval training made me start to love running in a way I never thought I would even though I wasn’t trying to run a 5k. I didn’t stick with it at the time but I really wish I had.

I just started running as a girl who couldn’t even run a mile and now I’m training for a half marathon. It’s the best decision I’ve made. When I realized I don’t need to sprint the whole time and I can jog a 12:40 mile I started loving running.

love that! that's exactly my mindset. maybe not the marathon part haha but the realizing i don't need to be fast necessarily
