I was given herpes simplex (oral) when someone kissed me at my baptismal when I was 2 months old, which messed up my life and my health, long-term. I've had terrible life-long allergies and now I have Hashimoto's Disease, where my body attacks my thyroid if I ingest milk or gluten. Fortunately my mom read Adele Davis' nutrition books in the 1960s so we were able to suppress outbreaks on my lips with B vitamins taken with vitamin C and calcium--a real life-saver! When I get that cold feeling on my lip, I take a Naturemade B complex with C and Zinc with some Calcium gummies and the sores are suppressed. I also use Denavir, started using it about 10 or 15 years ago. When a cure or vaccine is invented, I'm there for it. I want it! I would love it if my body stopped being so allergic to everything!

I feel so alone and sad about this.

Im really sad depressed i dont know if i have hsv1 i slept with a girl 5 months ago and now seeing and feeling symptoms i had a rash by side of mouth jaw but never no blisters or pimples after it turned into open like sores cuts but i got antibiotic ointment over the counter and it dried it up and went away within 2 days i open my mouth and see little red dots on top of mouth inside i feel really sad i will try and right this disease with eating healthy and drinking teas and a bunch of berries antioxidants in hope it will atleast keep it at bay but my goal is to eradicate it so when i go to get tested im not positive if so please help me in the right direction
A test usually takes a few weeks up to a few months to test positive. If your swab came back positive, then you have it, but it was too soon for a blood test to come back positive.
