Its more about what you feel is right. Intuition and such. Of course theres some things have have more assigned uses, like sage for cleansing and salt for protection.

In my sidereal birth chart, the cancer sign was in my 6th house of daily routines and health and cancer being ruled by the moon, I was hoping to use it's energy to lessen to malefic influence of the sixth house. Being an Aquarius Ascendant, moon, jupiter, mars, and sun are my functional malefic planets.

I bought a glass cookie jar from the dollar store, and I put my moon water in that after I have charged it outside in a glass tupperwear container. I charged my first batch under the full moon and used it to help call the quarters, cleanse spaces before spell work, and drinking it in my tea. In the case where I have used it in ceremony, I pour it onto the base of my willow tree outside when I'm finished with it. I just charged a new batch under the super new moon in Scorpio, very excited to use it!
I know others have said it, but you have the most relaxing voice! I work at a supply chain company. They provide bottled spring water to employees - as much as we want. (The bottles are plastic, but beggars can’t be choosers and I do recycle.) I bring it home and place it in the window in the winter or on the deck when it’s not cold. I use this as my drinking water, as my tap water is not good for drinking. I make Moon water out of tap or distilled water for all other purposes.
I have heard you can add just a few drops of moon water to a larger amount of regular water to turn the larger amount into moon water too, like a bath or water bottle, so you don't have to make massive amounts. Is this a common practice?
yes, I make tea or lemonaide with tap water then add moon water to it, instead of using all moon water. Or you can make a big pitcher of moon water too - either way you like.

I think I've done just about each of these. Aunts have been making moon water since I was a kid. They also put a huge jar next to the lake where the moon arrives then they place a small table set another smaller jar and crystals and that's how they recharge crystals without damaging. I wanted to give a heads-up to anyone that reads this that not all crystals can be put in water or should be anyway. I know jade, turquoise, ruby, lapis lazuli are examples of some that you should not put in your moon water or any water. Be sure and look up the crystal before you do that.

I do something similar to this. I make moon water specifically on a full moon as I believe it's when the Moon's power is at its strongest, or when things come to full fruition. Then I hold it up to the moon in a delicate crystal glass, and give thanks by way of prayer and intention to charge it. Then I drink it after I use it for charging other objects. This way I take it's power into myself, and the objects. I usually use a white candle at the alter as well. I actually use it for a lot of other moon workings. Similar to this video. There is so much you can do with moon water that I actually can't even begin to name it all. Even the video only covers a fraction.

I recently made my first moon water. It was fun. Even though I did lose several hours of sleep, I felt energized when I woke. It was as if the magickal work I did was as if I did sleep well during the hours I missed by working. I had to wash a label off the bottle and I stayed up till sunrise. When I used it for the first time, I anointed my brow. It was a zap like sensation and I had a flash vision. When I used it on my rat when he was ill, it helped him immediately. I keep my moon water covered up. So that during the day, the sun doesn't directly hit it. Is that something others do as well? I just figured it was moon water so don't let the sun hit it. I am gonna make sun water too! Gotta learn how to do that! Does moon water lose it's potency over time? I haven't had the same sensation when anointing my brow with it like I did the first time. I figure it was so intense because it was my first time using it and it shortly after I made it.
I think it does lose its potency of course. You can charge it with prayer or intention. I use crystals or herbs associated with the moon 😊 Good news is you can make a new batch every month haha
I have a couple pints of Super duper charged moon water that I put out 3 days of the fullest moon! and idky i hold on to them only maybe a little for offerings to Ganesha, medusa, or Afrodite but none for self! Like you, I celebrate the Full and New Moons for 3 days. This was really enjoyable and I thank you for sharing..using moon water in my diffuser is something I haven't thought of..🌙
I do something similar to this.
I make moon water specifically on a full moon as I believe it's when the Moon's power is at its strongest, or when things come to full fruition.
Then I hold it up to the moon in a delicate crystal glass, and give thanks by way of prayer and intention to charge it. Then I drink it after I use it for charging other objects. This way I take it's power into myself, and the objects. I usually use a white candle at the alter as well.
I actually use it for a lot of other moon workings. Similar to this video. There is so much you can do with moon water that I actually can't even begin to name it all. Even the video only covers a fraction.
I love the subtle nudge to the ones that don't clean their makeup brushes there X,D ❤
I'm a new witch, so I'll make some tonight and use it to charge sigils and Water plants.
All these are fantastic suggestions! I learnt so much from watching this video. I just have a couple of questions: Where do I store the moon water? Do I need to keep it in a dark place? Would artificial light change magical properties of it?
i keep mine out of direct sunlight but you do not need to keep it in the dark

Thank you for this soothing video especially the additional info about the waxing and waning phase energies 🙏💜I leave the lids off of my jars when I collect my moon water and also add crystals to the water while soaking up our precious Ms. Lunas energies and also put trays of crystals out during full and new moon
Ne sure to collect your water & end the ritual before the sun rises!!! Thank the moon, the universe or whoever you pray to & bring in the moon water before the sun hits it!

I plan to use moon water in floor washes and to charge my tools and bath water
I recently made my first moon water. It was fun. Even though I did lose several hours of sleep, I felt energized when I woke. It was as if the magickal work I did was as if I did sleep well during the hours I missed by working. I had to wash a label off the bottle and I stayed up till sunrise. When I used it for the first time, I anointed my brow. It was a zap like sensation and I had a flash vision. When I used it on my rat when he was ill, it helped him immediately. I keep my moon water covered up. So that during the day, the sun doesn't directly hit it. Is that something others do as well? I just figured it was moon water so don't let the sun hit it. I am gonna make sun water too! Gotta learn how to do that! Does moon water lose it's potency over time? I haven't had the same sensation when anointing my brow with it like I did the first time. I figure it was so intense because it was my first time using it and it shortly after I made it.
I keep mine on a high shelf out of direct sunlight, but I do not cover it. It's a good thought though.
I think it does lose its potency of course. You can charge it with prayer or intention. I use crystals or herbs associated with the moon 😊 Good news is you can make a new batch every month haha

I have a couple pints of Super duper charged moon water that I put out 3 days of the fullest moon! and idky i hold on to them only maybe a little for offerings to Ganesha, medusa, or Afrodite but none for self! (well baths) After this video... I'm going to make gallons and use it as everyday source water! I live in "Manitou springs" colorado and we have 8 natural springs around town that were thought to heal all kinds of ailments! One is literally a block away! I'm going to take a wagon and every vessel I have! moon water cooking, health, beauty, pets, meds., my watercolors WHAT?! paintbrushes! ! etc... here I come!
