His WR is 9.58 for 100m. His 200 meter time shows that he kept that speed up for 200m 😮
not really. in a 200m the second half is always quicker than the first half because you don't have to accelerate and start at full speed.
his last 100m here was 9.27

If you divide that time at:19.19 with two, you got two 100 meters at 9.59 and his 100m record is 9.58...wow.
He is even faster in the 200 because he accelerated the more he runs 🔥true giant

That’s not how it works. Acceleration would make his final 100 like way faster
It was 9.92 and 9.27 for his two 100m splits (already running when the second 100 starts)
You run the second 100 m way faster due to acceleration, faster than in the 100 m race.

One astounding thing about Bolt is that most the athletes will be out of breath and tired after 100m or 200m, but he is never out of breath and looks so energetic even after the race. Seems like he can keep going for more. An amazing athlete he is.

It's all won and lost on the blocks, so imagine the times he would've set when just launching himself and not to the gun. That's how you find out how quick you really are.
After that, it's all just about learning how to react to the starter.
Guaranteed he never broke any record during training. Really a stupid comment. You can tell by Bolt's qualifying times, he never went full out until the finals. That was showtime for Bolt.
@@tristanchase2887 he never broke it in training because nobody runs 100% at training lol. Athletes run reps in training at maximum 80% effort so they can afford to do reps. If they ran all out they wouldn’t have energy to train 😂
Damn,this was 10 years ago now...I remember the sheer incredulity of watching Bolt between '08 to '12 when he was just literally unbelievable. I remember standing up and watching even though I was watching on TV, it was just so literally unbelievable!! memories...

I think I've said this before on this video, but I'll say it again. If they had not false started, we could have seen a faster time. The energy was so high when they got into the blocks the first time. You could feel something was special was about to happen.

Man, have a been lucky to see some of the greatest athletes to ever live, in these modern times. Usain Bolt, Michael Jordan, Michael Phelps, Federer, Jokivic, Nadal, Tiger Woods, Wayne Gretzky, and Lawrence Taylor.
For Usain Bolt to run a 19.19 200 meters is unreal. Each 100 meters was run at 9.595 each. Is this guy for real? He was so far ahead coming off the turn, everyone else looked so slow. He is the greatest sprinter ever. I won't be surprised if his world records in the 100 and 200 meters stands for the next 20 years. He has got to be a alien from another world disguised as a human.

The second half of the 200 meters is usually faster than a 100 m world record because you don't start it standing still but you start it at full speed
He did the first 80 m in 8.66..then changed gears into the curve imagine the centifugal force due to this acceleration at 6'6"..
