A big fan of this little band with lots of heart. This band does not play they perform and entertain. Great to see more people taking part. It would be good if they could consider the offer!!
I will never miss an opportunity to watch and listen to these Ohnishi Gakuen students as they are always lively and entertaining, not to mention outstanding musicians. This Queen's Square venue seems to be a regular performance every year in their schedule and they always perform very well here. Worth every bit of 34+ minutes of watching IMHO. Bravo Ohnishi, Bravo 👍👍......👏👏👏👏👏👏!!!!!! Excellent job guiding, directing and leading your students every year Mr. Music Director. MIKAN - 🙇♂️
To me, there seems to be less of them than the last time I saw them. Their standards have always been high, but they have improved a great deal and now their standards are extremely high and they seem to be playing their hearts out. They are wonderful to see and hear.
I love watching how the students listen and obey their drum major. She is the boss! All lines are formed, positions tweaked, then she steps aside for the adult band leader to start the show. Onishi Gakuen always puts on an entertaining show despite being a relatively small band.
While I am nead over heels in love with Kyoto Tachibana, I find this smaller group of musicians make me very happy. And having been a clarinet layer I appreciate the larger number of "licorice stick' players to the other instruments. Well done! Oh, and the hula hoop bit really wasn't worth it.
