Funny how Bolo Yeung played so many big martial arts baddies over the years, but the reason he got so many roles is that he is such a nice guy that everyone wanted to work with him. Even today he travels around giving his time to support martial arts education for younger people.

There’s no point trying to figure dislikes out anymore. It seems that anything popular on TH-cam will have mindless dislikes.
You’re always going to have that person that’s wants to be the first anything. Even dislike. Then you have people that accidentally hit dislike. Even if a million people saw this and .1% accidentally hit dislike, you still have 1000 dislikes. And if you accidentally hit like and want of off your list, you might hit dislike just to get it off your music list or whatever. Even though you can just tap like again to clear it. Then you might have a few weird people that actually don’t like it. That about sums it up with most dislikes on good videos.

When you're kid, everything is so perfect in this fucking movie: JCVD the good guy, who represent you, who try to honor an old mentor like Goku and Master Roshi/Kaio/etc, Jackson the best friend the one you always want to have, the one who won't let you down, Chong Li the ennemy who's bad for free because in life you always have one asshole ready to hurt you for no fucking reason.. I feel lucky, I grew up with that movie, I hope I will become a Franck Dux or a Jackson.

I love this movie and this fight so much. Frank's roar when his vision was clouded "Is that the only way you could have defeated Shingo?! Is this the only way you can win at all?! COWARD! Still Chong-Li was a talented fighter. Same goes with repeating the style in Kickboxer. And Tong-Po was also highly talented fighter. I wonder who would have won in a fight between these two killers- Tong-Po vs. Chong-Li I would say they are pretty much equal in skill with Po having height advantage.

I wanna start by saying that I love this movie. I’ve seen this movie so many times. The only complaint I have is this last fight. It’s a great fight up until the point where Frank Dux defeats him with the repeated spinning jump kicks. I could never get over that. That’s the only part I hated in this movie and I’m sure lots of people will disagree, but that’s just my opinion

@Sniper .308 Doubtful Jean Claude has a very good kickboxing record while Yang Sze is a bodybuilder and martial actor but as far as I am aware has never actually competed in any sort of full-contact martial arts.

This was a good movie, and followed the formula of its time. When you watch a modern martial arts movie though, the difference is astounding. In the old days, as in this flick, there would be a pause after each move. Punch, pause/posture, punch/kick, pause again, etc. That's just the way they were made back then.
Modern flicks tend to have much faster action in the fights, although that is not always the case, just usually.
Bruce Lee movies were older and had a lot better choreography than this, Van Dame was just a bad fighter.
