I do think sometimes the church can be misleading on certain topics which is why we have to use great discernment and stay reading God word. Your bodies belong to God first, to each other second: 1 Corinthians 6:19 Do you not know that your body is the temple of the holy spirit within you, which you have from God? Also, you do not belong to yourselves, for you were bought with a price. By all means, glorify God in your body. 1 Corinthians 7:4 The wife does not have authority over her own body, but her husband does; likewise, the husband does not have authority over his own body, but his wife does.
