- Class 40, D213 'Andania' withThe Whistling Highlander railtour form Crewe to Inverness.
Seen on Day one of two. First soon after start up on the Locomotive Services Depot, before reversing back through the shed and coming into ths station.
Later seen arriving at Carlisle , then leaving for Inverness.
D1935 was on the rear.

Great coverage Phil, there was a lot of enthusiasts' at Carlisle, but it was good that it came in on that platform.
Thanks Mike. Yes, a lot there. Definitely, platform 1 is hopeless, whereas 3 is great with the long curve .

Fantastic video Phil, I also saw this tour at Crewe but I only arrived about 15 minutes before the tour left. The 40 was sounding absolutely brilliant 👍

Thanks Paul.Haha, I left Crewe on a Pendo (unfortunately 4 minutes before the 40) and then made up quite alot of time before Carlisle.
