Hey man, what he describes as “dirty” is simply vinyl crackle. This sound is associated with using a tape machine. And basically if you have a tape saturation plug-in, you should get that sound. Alternatively I’ll just layer a vinyl crackle with my drums if that’s the main element you like about what Krizbeat did with that hihat.
