2-Axis DRO install on the JET 16 Mill/Drill machine!

Installing a Grizzly universal DRO 2-Axis kit on my JET 16 mill/drill machine! What a game changer! Now we have DRO's on both the Lathe AND the Mill!

I like the Barber Motorsports poster in the back - its on my bucket list to race there with AHRMA.

I am too old and stove-up to do that, but I'd sure like to try it once myself. I am not going this year, it's too damned hot here in the South and I don't think October is going to be much better (in that year of the poster, Barber was scorching historically hot). But a buddy of mine whom I ride with up in GA/NC/TN is going, right after we do a gig in early October he's heading over to Alabama. Cheers.

Awesome! One of the best DRO install videos for a round column mill. Really liked your Y axis solution. Getting ready to do the same on my Jet mill. Thanks for recording and posting that.

That bracket with holes in it looks like a collet holder to me.

Ah. I bet you're right. I bet because it's sold as a mill 3 axis, they toss that in for R8 collets. I've already modified it into something else, but good call! That had bugged me for awhile.

The bracket looks like it could be a shot glass holder for when the work is finished.
