I have wanted the original one for a long time, but haven't bought it because I feel everyone have it. Now that there's a pocket edition, and the guidebook seems to be good, I just might have tho buy that version. I kinda like the smoothness of the original one better, but if this one is better quality, I guess that makes up for it. 😊
I fully support that! Haha! I know almost every tarot reader has this deck - but I guess it’s because it really is such a relatable and beautiful creation. It’s quite a challenge to riffle shuffle (for my weak hands at least), but I’d say the cardstock is pretty sturdy. 🩵 Thanks for commenting!
Very sad they didn’t change the card stock to a more durable thinner card, for that reason alone I won’t be buying it. As much as I love my full sized light seers deck my main issue with why I rarely use it is the card stock, I couldn’t imagine this decks card stock so tiny but feel super stiff
The card quality is a teeny bit better than the ultra papery / card boardish stock of the full-sized, but you’re right.. it’s not as thin and pliant as the Wild Unknown Pocket Tarot. It does have quite a resistance, and it doesn’t snap back. Idk if it’s just the strength of my fingers (or lack there of lol!), but I can shuffle the WU pocket tarot just fine.

I don’t have any small tarot decks though I think I might invest in this down the track.
