Strange… I have been wearing Yummy Hair for over 3 years and I have my mom wearing. Not one bad day with our hair. This is amazing. Maybe you’re putting some extra products on it. I’m literally shocked and confused. I actually changed hairstylists because she won’t let me bring my own hair. Been wearing weave since the 90s and Yummy hair is the absolute best, next was Dhair Boutique.
I recommend Yummy Collection loose curls and deep curls. No shedding with those bundles. My raw Cam wavy elegance bundles are shedders. Not too much, though.
@KimberlyGamble I agree. I order my first bundles which was the combodian wave and it shed like a dog. Gave yummy another chance and got curly it didn't shed at all. Honestly yummy isn't worth the money
I'm confused where's the top wefted part, you said it shed but if the tracks weren't cut and just folded over as it appears, there should still be five bundles if it was installed. Maybe I'm trippin lol and did I misunderstand? I have the Cambodian Straight, and just made it into a u-part.

Whaaaat really, that's crazy. I've never heard of that happening. Sorry you experienced that. I know how you feel. I've been using yummy hair for ever about 5 years. Never had any issues. But then again, I only use raw Cambodian curly wave.
July 2024 I received my Yummy Raw Sea Wavy Opulence hair bundles and the hair texture is rough. I placed the bundles in the water and tangled. I cold washed the bundles and it was tangled and still rough. I had the bundles sit in conditioner for 30 minutes and the hair is still rough and tangled. I have been doing weaves, wigs and extensions for 27 years and for this price the hair should not be doing this. This is a bad experience for me. I just got this hair and I have not made my wig yet. 😢
Maybe it’s cuz you took the wig apart. I’m not a die hard wig wearing person so the most I may wear my weave is 2-3 times a year but even then I know the more you do too a bundle can determine if the hair last now at the end of the day it is still human hair so it’s gone shed just like your actual hair plus if you are rough with your real hair it can cause a lot of your hair to come out so I would assume it’s the same for hair that’s been sewed to a weft. (Just my thoughts and opinion)
Hair actually can last forever.. It's always interesting seeing people who have bad experiences because I've been a yummy girl for years and the only issue I had was shedding of one of the lace frontals, however, I did bleach it too long so I think that aided to the shedding. One thing I do like about this company is the A1 customer service, and they actually sell GREAT quality hair even when its a sale LOL
I regret buying yummy extensions they are awful. I purchased the straight bundles a few weeks ago and this hair feels like plastic lol. It sheds so bad when I run my fingers through it and it has so many short pieces. I guess I received bad bundles but I would never purchase hair from them again. Terrible.
I bought several different textures and I had the same experience with both (Lao lush curly and Burma Curly) beautiful hair, but not good with wearing as a weave. I had excessive tangling and I put my hair in two strand twists every night. Still shedding and eventually tangling. I had better wear from Amazon bundles. Overall beautiful hair, but horrible with daily wear.
I love yummy. got it for me but as soon as I got it done, Men literally were stopping their cars in the street! Again, did this for me, I love Yummy, Yummy has been good to me! I've been wearing weaves braids natural perm etc, for years, Yummy best company ever worked with, although they better get their delivery process straight! They said we shouldn't place a Hold on fedex packages b/c some packages are getting lost, uh, we have to place a hold and keep it at the fedex locations b/c duhhh, we have to go to work to Pay for this hair! Find a new delivery company if that's an issue Yummy, don't put the burden on your customers! What are we supposed to do, take off and stay home a whole day?
The shedding could be due to cutting the weft! Never cut raw bundles! ❤

I got a full wig from them in 2018 and I don’t have any shedding. A deep wave would hold curls better

I had the hair for over a year so even with folding the tracks I still experienced shedding with general wear and tear on the wig.
The curly wave and Burma closures shed horribly! I’ve purchased the curly wave for years so idk what’s happening the quality of their products

I’m sorry this happened to you. Try deep conditioning it in Silicone mix.
