I think the most impressive thing for me is the prices, he could be rinsing people because he blew up on social media but he hasn't and kept it affordable
He don’t raise the prices due to the things he gets from company’s too promote there products like environmentally friendly packaging and other products he gets aswell so due too the free stuff he keeps his prices down and it’s only due too that if he didn’t get free products for promoting them aswell then he would have too increase his prices

@danielwilson1105 he makes the coleslaw fresh, and he shows everyone what they're eating and where he buys it from, there's no secrets. He also said in the video it's not gourmet food, and that he's been there 20 years. I don't think he's expecting it to end.

Ran a spud unit in a food court for 10 years, they look great, never gave 3 halves, used a size 40 potato, did 20 different fillings, makes me think of doing it again ... great review... and not too many "bruv's"either!....

Matt . Good honest review of a simplistic kept simple street food . The fact that he uses local farms around his area gives him good sustainable produce plus supporting others lively hoods is a win win .

We went today! Totally mirror everything you said. Well worth a fiver and the travel! A decent portion and a great chilli. I’ve watched the video where he makes the chilli and the only thing I’d add is to maybe dry fry the spices first just to intensify the flavour. However, as it stands, it doesn’t need changing. It’s a very humble and honest delicious meal prepared with absolute love. ❤
I love a good baked potato and they look excellent, my ultimate fave is a baked potato cooked in hot embers which are to die for, when I was a kid in the 70's we'd have a big bonfire on a piece of wasteland on our estate and we'd all cook baked potatoes in the embers as it died down then eat them with loads of butter, beans and cheese, lovely! these days I always go for the chilli!

North Carolina born and raised. We used to do a similar thing when i was younger at bonfires, campgrounds, and 4H camps albeit slightly different. quarter potatoes add ground beef cheese onions peppers season and add quarter stick of butter wrap in foil and bury it in the embers.

The best spuds you can source are usually from Lancashire, (Banks, Southport) Lincolnshire too and like he said the fenlands Cambridgeshire/ Norfolk .. All them places are coastal an get good balance of saltwater, sand and the best soil, Jersey an Cyprus as well 👍
It really does depend on the type of potato. I live near banks and have been transporting potatoes in my lorry for over 10 years, Cambridgeshire is definitely the best place for chipping potatoes with Pembrokeshire a close second. Herefordshire/Shropshire and east Scotland is the best for baking potatoes and Cornwall for new potatoes. Lancashire produce good bakers and chippers but certainly wouldn’t say they are the best in the country.

My favourite topping on a baked potato is real butter, fried and raw onion chopped up small, cheddar cheese and chopped up bits of fried back bacon with a bit of black pepper 😋.

Love this channel. Watch pretty much every video posted. My favourite has to be the review you done at Lucali’s in Brooklyn. Wanted to visit there for years. Last time we were in New York never had the time to visit & don’t think my wife and 2 lads would have been to impressed waiting nearly 3 hours for pizza 😂so the next best thing was watching on the channel👍🏼

My go to toppings are butter, next coleslaw with garlic mayo, chopped crispy bacon, then grated cheddar and mozzarella, big dollop of sour cream, and lastly chopped chive, bear in mind that's all on the one spud 😂😂

Whatever people want to say , spudman and spudbros revived the humble jacket potato its something I've not had since high school 15 years ago but me and my mates more regularly go to eat a jacket potato its simple , tasty and hearty and doesn't break the bank

My go to toppings is butter salt and pepper beans chili and chees. Might not be any better than any other spud truck but his personality is worth it.

Watched Ben for over 2 years when his goal was 500 tates a day and had less than 100k followers, he stays humble and such a nice guy. Even through the online hate people tried, he never crumbled. What a guy 🙌🏼

Yeah got have a crispy skin and fluffy inside, but you can a lot of stuff on, but don't knock it I like scrambled egg a nice sloppy one. And if want some heat a bit of Tabasco try it

I love good honest food, especially people that stick to local produce. £5 is not cheap but not expensive and the guys isn’t greedy! He could have stuck another couple of quid on top once pps kept on coming so good on him.

Jacket potato is a favourite meal of mine x my fave is the classic beans and cheese ...with loads of butter...and yes ...you gotta eat the skin ..but i always put hot pepper sauce (Encona) in my beans to spice them up...hint for Spudman lol...x

In Canada, the thought of tuna on a baked potato sends us sick. I'm fascinated that anyone finds that appealing, but those that do should have at it!
We had a spud u like in leeds & two hours before 5 a side football practice. I would have jacket potato butter & egg mayonnaise topping. I loved it.
I think it was tuna mayo, which isn't too bad. I've tried it.
@@andywrong3247 I like butter, sour cream, bacon bits and chives on mine. I like tuna, I like baked beans, but I can't even think of eating them on a potato... But as a Canadian, at least I love HP Sauce, so I don't think everything is odd across the pond. If I go to the U.S., I refuse to eat the A1 sauce that they find edible. :)
