I can't get over the eerily similar ending to Cree and Obann. Both were "killed" by Yasha and as they were dying, they both called out for help.Then they were turned into giant horrifying flesh monsters and killed again.

A lot of people were saying that Lucien having a bunch of eyes on his body and an antimagic cone meant the Somnozem was a beholder, but that wasn't true. I feel like this is the same way.

Taliesin's new character finding such a strong sense of purpose based on his old character, even though the two are entirely unrelated, is so cool to me. I've only played dnd games where other characters never seem to find much of their own purpose out of each other's existence beyond having extra muscle. I feel it so much when Caduceus says this is what he was born to do, after laughing about the universe's largest cadaver.

I agree with _Marc Q_ that if we are able to watch CR ~4h episodes for so many years most probably we can survive with the auto YT subs, taken how much extra work they would require every time. haha yeah i almost put that in! to be honest, there are a variety of factors that influence whether something makes it in or not. in this case, it was that i messed up when i was recording that clip and didn't get enough of the beginning and was too lazy to go back and re-record it. happens sometimes, especially when i have already been dealing with recording issues and don't want to go back and do more of it lol. glad you still enjoyed it though :)

There is one thing I don't get. Lucien get his powers from Somnovem, one of the powers is being immune to psychic damage, but somehow Somnovem are not immune to psychic?
either a spell or a channel divinity, i’m pretty sure it’s something he can do as a death cleric (i think it’s literally called path to the grave?) makes a creature vulnerable to damage and doubles it like a crit, so he casts it/uses the feature and the next person to do damage to a creature does double. i think, don’t quote me lol
I feel like she would never answer them anyway, she HATES them. And like hell we would divulge anything to help them against Lucien. Besides, she was already on death's door and upon transforming she would never have been able to say anything anyway.
yeah, they didn't ask her anything, but technically she doesn't have to answer the questions anyways. she can't TELL A LIE, but she is not forced to talk. i don't know that they really would have gotten anything useful out of her either way. but it was an interesting choice from marisha
