It’s honestly great to see you come back as your channel has been one of my favorite Marvel Snap TH-cam channels. I just lost my own father a month and a half ago. It’s been very difficult for me to process. I’ve only now stepped out of the denial phase. I also lost my father in 2022, a few months before my son was born. I also never dealt with it until it started seriously affecting my family life last year. It crushed me, but at the time I couldn’t let it affect me; I had too much going on for it to. I’m still working through it but much much better off now. My days are filled with work, my son, wife, and family with little time for much else. I wouldn’t change that for a thing right now either. I 100% get where you’re coming from. You don’t owe us anything. Take care of you and your family first. With all of that being said welcome back! I’ve always loved and appreciated your content and deck designs, which has always lead me to experimenting with fun, different, non-meta decks. Very happy to have you making Snap videos again. Sorry to hear about your Dad. I lost my Dad in February of this year. I grieved but I know he would not want me to be miserable and unhappy. I went fishing today for the first time nice he passed away. Caught a limit of Trout. He would have been so happy for me.

It's great to see you back. You did the right thing stepping away, and I applaud your approach to returning. I know what it's like to have a full-time job and family and try to also devote a lot of time to a passion that becomes another full-time job on top of it all. Snap is a lifestyle game that already requires a lot of time just to grind, let alone create content for, let alone try to grind across multiple accounts. I think you'll deliver great content with a single account, and not posting every day. I learned a lot about my own deck-building from you, and my experience now is to grind to infinite with what works and then I get to play with new off-meta builds and have fun experimenting, and it's been a lot more enjoyable for me. I hope you find the same and I look forward to your new brews.

If something doesn't bring your joy, you shouldn't force yourself to do it. If that means weekly uploads, monthly uploads, hell even an annual would make us happy. As long as it is making you happy. And if it's not serving you, then TH-cam will just have to do without you. I'm saying this a little to myself as well. The "keeping myself busy to not feel those feelings" resonates with me. Glad you are doing well.
It's good you have found your roots, reordered your priorities (more time wit family, less with grinding in games, etc.) and feel happy again. I would like to know your experience as some who has been out for months, not as a main video idea, just to understand what is it, especially being so hard core dedicated before this. I've always kept myself busy with either side-hustles, projects, or other things and the storm that hit was I think all of that catching up with me. It was almost paralyzing to be able to think about or do anything because it all felt so daunting. I'm that you're still here and I look forward to bringing some fun back to the uploads!

I would always smile when those Dragon Heir ads would come on. life is too short and gets too hectic. to take a step back and gain your focus, clarity, and hopefully mental well being is such a necessary thing. family is so important, and it’s so easy to lose focus of that. so easy to fall into the repetitive nature of going through the motions and tunneling, especially to avoid confronting something else. anyway, I am glad things are finally looking up and I look forward to seeing content again!

When I first started Marvel Snap 2 weeks ago I stumbled upon your playing for 30 days video. It has helped me tremendously into making my account as effeciently f2p as possible while also getting me to enjoy the game a lot. I'm almost to pool 2 and can't wait to actually climb for infinite in ladder (I lost a lot of cubes for the collection curve XD) and try out conquest with this deck I made

A few years ago, when my daughter was born I took a similar break from life. trying to juggle so many things at once was really weighing on me. I quit my job and lived off of savings for two months. It took a huge financial toll, but it was the best decision I ever made. I made some great memories with my daughter and I’m glad that you were able to do the same! Glad to have you back.
Taking the time to grieve is so very important. I had to learn that lesson myself too. Glad to see you back man and like others have said, even though we love you, you don’t owe us anything!!

I’m not a content creator but I’ve self imposed a limit on snap myself, with having 2 kids. I put a hard lock on snap and gave my wife the password for extending the screen time so I don’t overdo it! I've always kept myself busy with either side-hustles, projects, or other things and the storm that hit was I think all of that catching up with me. It was almost paralyzing to be able to think about or do anything because it all felt so daunting.

my brother, to say that it’s good to see you back would be a massive understatement! I would always smile when those Dragon Heir ads would come on. life is too short and gets too hectic. to take a step back and gain your focus, clarity, and hopefully mental well being is such a necessary thing. family is so important, and it’s so easy to lose focus of that. so easy to fall into the repetitive nature of going through the motions and tunneling, especially to avoid confronting something else. anyway, I am glad things are finally looking up and I look forward to seeing content again!

Although I still think about him daily (and multiple times each day), it is getting easier. Don’t think we will ever get over it, but we will be able to take another step forward every day. When I first started Marvel Snap 2 weeks ago I stumbled upon your playing for 30 days video. It has helped me tremendously into making my account as effeciently f2p as possible while also getting me to enjoy the game a lot. I'm almost to pool 2 and can't wait to actually climb for infinite in ladder (I lost a lot of cubes for the collection curve XD) and try out conquest with this deck I made

I had more thoughts, might as well engage anew to please the engagement gods. I seem to recall the first comment I made on one of your videos was something along the lines of being delighted by the positivity radiating out of the content you made, complete with compliments for our opponent's deck and fun dad jokes for so many of our wins. It truly was a delight to watch the shenanigans unfold, just a real bright spot in one's day to enjoy 15-20 minutes of fun games and silly bants. A few years ago, when my daughter was born I took a similar break from life. trying to juggle so many things at once was really weighing on me. I quit my job and lived off of savings for two months. It took a huge financial toll, but it was the best decision I ever made. I made some great memories with my daughter and I’m glad that you were able to do the same! Glad to have you back.
Taking the time to grieve is so very important. I had to learn that lesson myself too. Glad to see you back man and like others have said, even though we love you, you don’t owe us anything!!

I was worried you yourself weren’t ok, but I’m glad it was just you taking some time to keep your mental health in check and to put your family first. I’m not a content creator but I’ve self imposed a limit on snap myself, with having 2 kids. I put a hard lock on snap and gave my wife the password for extending the screen time so I don’t overdo it!
