This shit used to be standard back in the day. COD4 had a toooooooooooon of total (or close to) conversion mods, star wars and paintball were the top 2.

I think a lot of people are surprised this exists as a mod. This is in large part thanks to the incredible mechanics of squad and it's engine. Squad and Post Scriptum are immense games with next level mechanics and FX. It's no surprise that a star wars mod is the cherry on the cake. The modders here took what was successful about the base game and gave it a new lick of paint. That's why it's a mod.
I would've loved if the AT-TE started firing as well. But I loved that there was smoke everywhere and troopers taking cover in little hiddy holes, and those soldiers must've felt exilerated when they were healing while bullets were screaming past them. Then they all charge at once at the crevace.

This mod is absolutely phenomenal. This might be an unpopular opinion but one of the things the things that sets this apart over battlefront is the lack of random heroes flying around force pushing everything. The gritty infantry combat is so cool.

You know what I realized while watching this? We need more games that functionally work. The graphics aren’t the best but they work, but the game functions as it should and that’s awesome!

Star Wars fans are some of the most dedicated fans on the planet dice and EA handled battlefront so poorly the fans just made an entirely new game using squad
I really really wish they could be like an actual star wars like Clone wars era game with multiplayer tactical combat, where you could play even Force wielders, Just a generic Jedi or Sith lord not maybe one per squad, but Add that Capability Like I've seen in a arma 3 jedi Mod, could you imagine going into a fight with a Proper Jedi Player? And a proper Clone ? That would be dope as hell
