When I heard the open timpani rolls, I thought this was going to suck. Nope, this was an excellent rendition. Well done getting all the triggered sounds in too. Just which that foot controlled wood block had the proper volume set, killed my ears with ear buds in.
Great job! Nice timing, very crisp. The only areas I saw that were slightly different are the intro rolls and there should be full tom rolls at 4:33. Keep it up!

Excellent playing. Questions: I was wondering where you got your samples that just sound exactly like the samples on the track. And also where did you get the drumless track (I tried Moises and it sounded wobbly after stripping off the drum part).
Is how you are getting the two different sounds out of the electronic pad by the hi hatby way of having the octoban sound for the middle and the castanets programmed on the rim of the pad?
Very nice job! Sounded great but if I may if you are going for accuracy to sound he does this on a small tom and does a difficult type of triplet at 0:05. Good job, just giving a pointer you can see what he does in the original time stand still music video
