Just like my secondary school teachers, the main part of 'what I find most difficult' has yet to be answered. Apart from the 'Remove prefix and suffix' and 'the schwa sound dosen't carry any stress', you didn't point out how to identity the stress. After the root still stands, how do I identify the stress? From a noun, verb, adjective, -ly, -sion, -al, where is the stress likely to fall? Those are the main knowledge I wanted to acquire. Hopefully you'll add to your playlist as time goes on cos' this 'Stress Tutorial' is not sufficient for anyone to sit inside the hall and score exclusively. Anyways, thanks, learnt 3 things from here.

This is really interesting. But what if after eliminating the prefixes and suffixes and you are still left with many syllabus. How then can you know the exact syllable that will take the stress

Know what prefix and suffix is.(just rule out both the prefix and suffix if both occur in the given word) then target the root or base words to identify your stress.
