Toronto's cherry blossoms reach peak bloom in an empty High Park

The City of Toronto shut down all of High Park as the popular cherry blossoms reached peak bloom at the end of April. With the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to force physical distancing, officials chose to close the park to the public and keep out the usual flood of thousands of visitors. We were permitted to capture the empty cherry blossom scenes on the evening of May 4, 2020.
