In a car camping setup, organising the stuff is the key. My son says that if someone is good at 3D geometry or jigsaw puzzles or tetris then then they would be good at space management too. Your point about minimalism is absolutely correct but often ignored especially by newbies ... One aspect about RTT that you did not mention is that a car can act like a Faraday cage and protect us from lightning strikes but the RTT cannot ... Really enjoyed this video, waiting for more ...
My early career in Basic Transportation worked here for me. Every labourer loading a truck is PHD in space management 😀 You know I loaded truck physically at least thrice in my life… RTT is not even as safe as inside car from animals like even a Monkey. Lot of understanding I brainstormed, felt it’s a little against Car Camping. It’s camping on your roof. Thank you so much for your comment. Finding more reasons to meet your son. Very practical like you
Yours all the points are true and agree, another thing, my elder son was telling and today said by someone, probably by 1st Indian camper van's latest video told the same, 1 or 2 trips of 4 to 5 days trip duration must be done in a rented van and to decide the necessity.
I think everything what we do, we should have a central point to that. Deeper the meaning we find, deeper the motivations would be. I thought a lot before getting into Car camping ( 2 year of pandemic to be precise) So if your reasons are solid go ahead and experiment and you will soon find the best way to do it Thanks for your continued support Sir
@@CarCampingIndia yes sir, when coming to my place, discuss with me because I went by driving thrice, was guest of Indian Navy at Visakapattnam once and another time, at a star hotel . But if you are more people than two, then AC hotel cost for a minimum 2 nights will be 1500/- to 2000/- per night. As per me, in that case we can carry an extra tent to pass the night as the entire portion is safe. From my place, my car will join and at least 1 person can be accommodated as I have a Kechua make tent extra for 3 persons.
Your conviction on the subject matter & your fluency about the suggestions- I am seeing both of these grow tremendously over time! Your passion about car camping brings out minimalism so effectively! Chalte jao, merey dost!💞
Wonderful set up, Partho. Loved it! I also agree on organizing things in such a way that your car itself becomes your camp for the night without an RTT. Particularly for one or two travellers. I have a similar set up too, with even the bed folded away in the boot of my Swift with a foldaway kitchen and toilet too, and what's more, I can even keep the rear seat in sofa position when I drive during the daytime. This I'm able to affford by the 'go minimalistic' approach.
Wonderful. I know there are many like us who go by the minimum effort and maximum comfort. Glad to know about you setup. Pls share a short video in chalajaatahun@gmail.com will love to see that. Many thanks to the encouraging comment Sirji. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Again the concept is to spread the bed before starting and dismantle only when you return home. I thought of that, as I see many western communities in YT Videos done that. Think a little deeper, you might find a solid reason on my model
Since I am using, may be I feel that it is easy. You can always comment on how to make it easy. Will give credit to you for that. Thanks a lot for trying to help me.
Your set up for bed is too complicated but i like your travel vlogs. Try to make it simple. RTT is for frequent travellers and definitely car is enough to make a bed inside . There is no need of RTT if in-car bed is done smartly so that there is minimum time to set-up the bed.
I adopted an Agile Methodology to upgrade my bed system, over time. If you check my first season of vlogs, you will see stools on backseat footwells 😊. Will took hell lot of space. Second part I used seat rails and was directly connecting the kitchen unit. That was forcing me to uninstall the bed before I start driving. Followed by setting the bed again to use the bed Then I adapted and used whatever is available in the car. Screw holders of the back seat and seat railings made the bed structure nimble, easy to carry and gave lot of space and most importantly allowed me to have the bed set up very quick and while driving
Now that’s something. Actually I have a PMI Certification on “Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master” though never worked as Scrum Master. I am a Workforce professional in IBM supporting this area for fulfilling SM demands. Thanks 🙏🏻
Yeah I thought of that. But can’t avoid the Nuts and Bolts and that is the reason of delay. But since it will carry the weight during travel, I wanted a solid system. Pls suggest a better system. I will share the credit to you 😄. Thanks for the feedback 🙏🏻
Setup is great, but I want to know how did you get permission from RTO to do these changes? Because in India, it is not allowed to change the interior of the car without proper permission.
It’s capable in terms of structure. Since 2021 model they discontinued the functional roof rails. Now officially it would be difficult to fix one. Decathlon RTT is just 45 kgs by the way.
@@CarCampingIndia thanks for the answer! Really appreciate your video. Also, if the car is in a household of two people, can I not completely remove the back seats? I believe it will make the rear more flat and we can directly place a small mattress on it. Also increases the head room. Any suggestions/thoughts on this ?

I liked your concept but make it little easy by just making it foldable in the dicky.

Other point is We can sleep 2 only inside. Hence during travel I don’t need back seats
Very infomative videos. keep it up

Good suggestion sir

No permanent modifications done
@@CarCampingIndia thank you for the reply.
Are such modifications legal?
No modifications of the car has been done.
Just wanted to ask, is nexon capable of RTT? Like would it support 100ish kg on top?
It’s capable in terms of structure. Since 2021 model they discontinued the functional roof rails. Now officially it would be difficult to fix one. Decathlon RTT is just 45 kgs by the way.
