Exp GDC will work better. If we refere TH-cam most of EGPU runs on bottle neck.
In Nvidia only GTX 1050 ,GTX 1050 TI and GTX 16 series cards won't work in exp GDC dock.
But still now RTX cards works fine with exp GDC dock.
For your failure. Your lenevo laptop bios won't leave work with exp GDC.
And majority of HP laptop won't support support exp GDC dock. But your government laptop support exp GDC.
If you go with government. As government laptop has powerless CPU (AMD pro). But small GPU like GT 710 can be used.
And effency. For every exp GDC,any GPU will loss 10%-15% .
If we use internal display. The effency will be less
In AMD cards all RX series cards works well
For internal display with NVIDIA, No problem just can change it from driver
As per AMD with EXP GDC DOCK we need to use only external monitor. No way..
But there is a way we can use "HDMI gost " through that we can bypass it.
When we connect ghost. It will deduct as moniter as connected. By changing ghost as primary monitor.And laptop display as secondary. We can use.
But howevere if we use internal. There is chance that we can lose 50% effency from its actual power. So external monitor is recommended...
