No, it was not 'literally stolen'. The government of India has itself conceded that it was a gift, and was not stolen. The Kohinoor was a trophy obtained by the British following their victory in the Anglo-Sikh war. There was an explicit provision in the peace treaty that gave ownership of the diamond to the British crown.
Which is pretty much the explanation for the ownership of the infamous diamond for most of it's history. Of it's long long history, it was in the ownership of this particular Indian dynasty for just 30 years, that Indian prince's grandfather gaining it by demanding it 'as a gift' from the last of an Afghan/Persian dynasty, who's ancestors themselves came into possession of it after looting it from the treasury of a Mughal emperor. And the story continues...
It's an entirely double standard to say that Queen Victoria 'literally stole it' from a dynasty that also literally stole it from a dynasty that literally stole it. The Indian government does, as I say, acknowledge that it was a gift not stolen, even though they still want it back. But then Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran also also want it back...

I don't think it's pronounce as 'Fagal' it's with a z not a g. If you are a host you should learn to say the name of your guest right. Again if your name was pronounced wrong I guess you would definitely call out that person as rude. It was a bit disappointing--I liked how Eddie Izzard jumped in to ask if the rapping was part of the film promotion to try and tie it back in.
People make the mistake thinking that friendship and love should only occur between certain people that society has sanctioned as being appropriate for one another. But love and friendship knows no time frame, age or restriction of any type. And love is not just a physical relationship; it is also companionship, sharing and caring for one another and most of all, taking a genuine interest in one another.
This is my feel-good movie. I am so in love with this. Makes me very emotional everytime.

A nice way to portray how humble the lady is and how kind she is. But actually the truth is just opposite. Because of her world war happened, she looted the whole world and many more bad sins she did to the world.
It doesn't portray Queen Victoria as humble, nobody and nothing does. She was not, she literally describes herself as 'greedy and disagreeably attached to power' in the movie trailer. The World War did not happen because of her, she did not loot the whole world, was a figurehead.

It's a good film, but having watched interviews with the children of people who were actually there. Abdul was a thief and bullied the other Indian staff, he was very much a part of the Indian caste system. Seeing the other Indians as lesser than him. He was also quite abusive to his 3 wives. This film is very chocolate box.
