Suicidal thoughts have been coming and going more than usual just lately and I came back to NF songs just this evening. Over the duration of my addiction I find myself listening to Juice WRLD, Machine Gun Kelly & NF when I can feel myself drifting into the darkness. Music has always been a way of therapy for me through the good and the bad times. I can always find myself in the song and relate to the words as if it was written with me in mind. I just don’t know what to do anymore.. I really don’t and I can feel the light at the end of the tunnel starting to go out. The years have passed and all I’ve done is cause more damage and pain for my children. They have always been my WHY. WHY I try again, WHY I stand up and tell myself I’m strong, WHY I shouldn’t end it all. They didn’t deserve to have a piece of shit drug addict for a father. I wish I could just be the father that they long for.

Whenever I'm too stressed, my anxiety/ADHD is roaming inside of me, whenever it seems impossible to not be overwhelmed by my thoughts for me, this song seems to be the only thing which can calm me down. If I'm in a stressful situation, this song is the one to remind me to breathe. Not only with the lyrics. It's also the melody and the song's length. They're the perfect combination. I feel my breathe and heartbeat slowing down, slowly being able to feel safe, alive. I believe this song should be considered as an essential material for therapies. The way it affects the psychology is just amazing and unbelievable.

Never in rap have we had someone as real as this, and people like this come once in a lifetime. It would be the biggest mistake this planet could ever make if he goes through the rest of his music career under the radar because his music is perfection. The simplicity of his songs are what captures people. We don't want something out of this world, we want something in it that we can relate to.

Some people say NF is underrated, ima be Real for a second. He is building something someone have never done before. He is building not just a fan base, but a Cult, a Family, an Understanding, a group of people who are going through the same thing and people who have no one to speak for them. His music isnt for the fame, its for his voice to speak for all of us. People wont listen to people if they're not important, people wont listen to people if you're just regular, but people will listen if you're someone big. He is building up records for the future when people are finally gonna recognize him and when people will look at the past, they're gonna think, they're gonna think really hard.
I think we all can agree that NF's music is way more than a therapy session. Whenever I'm too stressed, my anxiety/ADHD is roaming inside of me, whenever it seems impossible to not be overwhelmed by my thoughts for me, this song seems to be the only thing which can calm me down. If I'm in a stressful situation, this song is the one to remind me to breathe. Not only with the lyrics. It's also the melody and the song's length. They're the perfect combination. I feel my breathe and heartbeat slowing down, slowly being able to feel safe, alive. I believe this song should be considered as an essential material for therapies. The way it affects the psychology is just amazing and unbelievable.

Ive been and still do come to NF when i have bad days. He brings calmness and release to my life. Everyone tells me they dont get my depressing music taste but to me thats not what it is. Its a way to forget and be happier rather than lash out and destroy.
I grew up much the same. I didn't go on road for music but a job. The whole song makes me listen through so much emotion of my own. One of the best slow raps of all time! Thanks nf.
