There’s always a risk that the money invested by SSS and GSIS will be lost. Just like here in the US, the government is taking money from Medicare and SSS and this is affecting the benefits of the people. One effect is the adjustment of retirement year, it’s going up from 65 y.o. to 67 y.o. Delaying or adjusting the availability of funds to members to offset the loss from such investments.

SSS and pension is a type of investments like insurance pero free tax ito dahil ang gobyerno ang nagpapatakdo ng SSS at GSIS kaya nga napaka ganda ng sistema ng SSS at GSIS dahil hindi nagagalaw ang pera mo diyan at tax free dahil tiwala ka sa gobyerno yan ang nagpapatakbo ng SSS at GSIS kaya nga anong kinakatakot ni atty guanzon hindi naman private company ang SSS at GSIS at yung pangalan lang naman ng funds ang babaguhin niyan hindi naman ang sistema ganun parin gobyerno parin magpapatakbo niyan dahil gobyerno ang mayari niyan, bawal sa batas ang galawin ang pondo niyan at bawal sa batas ang hindi ibigay ang pera sa owner sa edad na mag 60 years old, maliit lang naman ang hinuhulog sa SSs at GSIS na kinakaltas sa salary ng bawat miembro kaya ganon lang ang nakukuha ng bawat miembro, kung magkano lang ang kaya nilang ihulog kahit janitor at taxi driver, nagbabayad ng voluntaryo sa SSS kung magkano lang ang kaya ng bulsa nila dahil umaasa din sila sa mga benepisyon makukuha tulad ng bukod sa nakakaipon ka ng pera nakakapag loan ka pa sa maliit na interest lang at may sickness benefits at maternity leave , at hindi ka takot na maghulog ng pera sa sSS at GSIS dahil gobyerno ang namamalakad niyan at si PBBMarcos ay may magandang plano para sa maharlika sovereign funds, mas lalo daw niyang dadagdagan ang pensyon palalakihin at pagagandahil ang systema, at tubo , dahil may plano pa daw si ex pres ferdinand marcos st noon na plano pa talaga nilang pagandahin lalo ang maharlika sovereign funds na SSS at GSIS dagdag pensyon sa bawat pilipino kaya nga si atty guanzon puro hinala lang pero wala namang nagagawang mabuti para sa bansa para sa ikauunlad ng bawat pilipino

Love her honesty. Government should focus on other issues like inflation, illegal imports, and deficit. The management of this fund will not be free. At least 1% to 3% will go to management fee and all the risk will be borne by the taxpayers as they will be the one that will guarantee the fund through higher taxes and lower retirement benefits.
