IT'S SO EMBARRASSING HOW LOUDLY I GASPED WHEN MERYL WALKED ONSCREEN. LIKE, GOD. I HAD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THIS TRAILER AND THEN I FORGOT ALL OF THEM IMMEDIATELY
I'd like to mention for anyone here that if you're curious about Anime Campaign but don't want Epithet Erased spoilers (and have watched season one and read Prison of Plastic), then I think it's fine to watch episodes 1 and 2 of Anime Campaign as well as the role play session of episode 3. This role play session shouldn't have any spoilers in it and is what this video is based on
I should probably clarify that episodes 3, 4, and 5 of Anime Campaign each have role play sessions that take place before their respective campaigns. (I've heard there was also one for 6 but I've never seen it and have no idea how to find it) They're mostly just for fun and also established the premise of each campaign and introduced new characters. This is why I believe the one in 3 shouldn't have spoilers (4 likely spoils 3, and 5 likely spoils 3 and 4, so be warned about that)
okay the epithet spliting into a sentient seperate being thing with Slim and Alacatraz I dont know if thats a thing in EE but i feel like it should be now i wanna see what other epithets split off into
Well I think it really depends on what the epithet is, for some, it really wouldn't make ANY sense that it could manifest as a separate visible thinking entity like the Slim/Alcatraz thing. Also, in some cases it would be more elderitch and/or gaseous in appearance, like Molly's would be a cloud with fake-looking stars in it, making noises that sound like tranquil slow music of some kind (or just eerie silence quieting the area around it in a gradient-like fashion), I'd imagine.
God I hope they at least add Slim and Alcatraz. I know nothing about these characters other than the short session before the actual proper Hot!Crispy! Dazzling! But I love them. Also this is incredible!
@@agatasain yipppeee! Are you in contact with Mr Blaber? Also thank you so much for talking about you wanting people not to be spoiled by AC, because I did wanna watch more, but if someone genuinely regrets it, then I won't take my chances
Ranking prison arc characters based on their likeliness to appear in Epithet Erased (Mera, Indus, and Ramsey are guaranteed) Ryatt - I don't remember where, but somewhere on Jello's stream archive channel, Jello Plays Games, I remember Jello talking about art that he commissioned someone to make of Ryatt for Sweet Escape, so that makes his appearance guaranteed Haboo - Haboo's wanted poster is hidden in the end credits of the western arc, so I think he has a high chance of appearing Dixon - Will likely have a role in the story related to STEM (NOTE: I think I remember in the Anime Campaign epilogue stream when Jello is talking about wanting to do some kind of reboot of Anime Campaign and what changes he'd make (many of these changes he ended up following through with in Epithet Erased) he said that Dixon works poorly as a party member and is better as a supporting character who appears sometimes to say weird stuff. This might be a role Dixon will have in Epithet Erased.) Warden Grapethroat - Pros: (Easiest to make into the arc villain, can be pretty funny) Cons: (would stand out as a simple and one-dimensional arc villain compared to the likes of Mera, Zora, and Lorelai) Slim and Alcatraz - Pros: (unique situation with his epithet, has the potential to be an interesting antagonist) Cons: (loses relevance after the prison arc, it would be very difficult to make him, a prisoner, the villain in a prison-break story) Dan Gansley - Pros: (he is very funny and a fan-favorite) Cons: (also loses relevance after the prison) Jericho - Another one who loses relevance, yet also doesn't have any pros aside from generally being a pleasant character. If the cast needed to have characters cut, I sadly think he would be the first to go. Also, his powers might not fit in Epithet Erased's world (I know Trixie is there, but I think a mundie with ghost powers is more believable than a mundie with videogame speedrunning powers) Shadow Cop - The only reason why he exists is due to wild magic, which isn't a thing in Epithet Erased. There will probably be a reference to him in Sweet Escape, but I highly doubt that he will appear in person.
this comment is old and i assume you know all of this information, but to add more stuff in case anyone is curious or just lurking around like me: regarding jericho: jello stated in the long 2020 QnA stream that he will not be making an appearance in EE and will most likely be relegated to a background cameo/bit in Sweet Escape. (he also answered jericho when asked which ac character he was most sad about cutting which gutted me personally but that's neither here nor there) this may be delusion, but that the man in the white pinstripe suit at the beginning of PoP could be seen as a subtle slim cameo (at least, i've seen a couple slimheads think really hard about it). i can't recall if jello has said anything precise regarding his future appearances, but i Do know that he mentioned the way slim and al work wouldn't align with current epithet worldbuilding, which almost guarantees no further mention of the two. ryatt will be making an appearance in the ttrpg book! you can see some of rhea burtram's illustrations of him on EE's social media. every time he is posted the replies erupt in joy. clang clang clang! i believe dixon is almost guaranteed an appearance of some kind. giovanni's next big mission in PoP involved baking cookies, dixon's currently in jail, and i feel as though a prison visit was implied at some point near the end. written in the stars. hot crispy dazzling forever woohoooo

I'll tell you more, she's the antagonist of the first half and even has a boss battle!
My 2 Takeaways:
1. *_DON'T WATCH ANIME CAMPAIGN!_*
2. This won't necessarily spoil Sweet Escape, but it will give some idea of what to expect.
WE'RE MAKING IT OUT OF THE PRISON WITH THIS ONE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love the dedication
