- Today we build the LEGO Marvel Sanctum Sanctorum! I walk through the unboxing experience and review it floor by floor as we put it together! The build is incredible... it is a MARVEL modular building!! Yesss. It is loaded full of details and interesting building techniques - making it really fun to put together. In addition to that, this set also comes with 9 awesome minifigures that can be posed all over the building! Wish they would make just as many sets like this and the daily bugle for DC, I would love a Wayne manor or titans tower.. like the hall of justice from the show and older comics would be an amazing build.
I would want the Daily Planet.

@@CharliePatto no, I mean DC, I was using marvels sets as an example. I wish they would build sets for the DC ip that are like these sets from marvel.

I think the build is awesome, my only complaint is that it should’ve included atleast 15 figures, and since it didnt they could’ve gave us some more detailed minifigs. Also i think the building should’ve been extended a couple studs in depth to make the lobby a bit more roomy like it is in the movies.
I totally agree with you but this is by far one of the best sets I’ve seen from marvel for a while now I will also be hoping to get this set in December and see if it’s on discount so I can own this wonderful set

i built mine on a mils after starting my city since i first got the daily bugle a while back and built it on mils because of you. really helped thank you bricksie

omg, this set is huuge 😮 The details are amazing. Im always amazed what you can build with Lego pieces, that's why I also started to make tutorials and buildings by myself. Great review, it was a pleasure watching this!!

Having it on a MILS plate was a smart thing to do. It makes it easier to pick up because I could see this being kinda heavy. Love all the sticker elements in this especially the sliding AC units that reveal different locations. The Captain America sticker of the Bricksonian Museum is awesome. Great review. I'd say with the Gargantos panel, have it outside facing that way you get more of a story to tell that Pop Culture street is being invaded. I'm kinda 50/50 on whether or not to get this or the UCS Landspeeder to start a Star Wars display with the remaining space I have left.

Not a fan of marvel, but man as a modular building this looks awesome. Think I’ll defo have to get even though I’m not interested in the mini figures. Just a really cool building that would look great in any city
Hi bricksie!!! So glad you were able to put stickers 11 in the right place lol (I can’t believe we both forgot to put it in) it was to fun being able to build that set at the same time as you! Also I had a blast talking about how the The aliens really built the pyramids with you!!!! It really meant a lot to me!😁oh also you we’re asking about the plate in the garbage bin for the home care-it was the place that Loki sent oden to live in but ended up getting teardown in Thor ragnarock. This is such a fun set and would recommend it to anyone who loves marvel!!😆👍🏻

This is the first modular I built out of my collection. I waited till I had got a few mils plates to avoid future hassle. I can't wait to start building the rest because these are enjoyable builds for sure!
There's a lot to see in the interior, very detailed.
I often wonder just how many different trees you can make, well here's another way that even you never thought of as you mentioned.

Nice Building. The second floor is the better bookshop. So you get two modluars within one.

Hey Jordan, great build and review. Watched you build a lot of it on the live stream and I think it's an awesome set, not sure when I'll get it though because there are still a couple of the older modulars that I would like but it's definitely on my constantly growing list! I love all the details and Easter eggs plus the way you can pose the minifigures in lots of different ways. Looking forward to seeing you place it in the city

Solid build 😊👍I loged in at end of 2 nd leve build ..and U legend stayed on built rest of it ..cas lot s of us loged in late .😊👍..every time I cee a modular it make s me whant to build moc one outta my extra part s ..only built a Ninjago train station one atm..but got another Ninjago big moc build in mind .

idk why they went so small on these rooms. they have 5 or 6 studs left on the baseplate. they could've added wider hallways instead of the big alleyway
I've been sitting on 3.5 Mil's plates for like 2 months now because I am not looking forward to converting the Daily Bugle, the Assembly Square, or the Police station! :-(

Great set it’s just so thin the staircase on the ground floor is so cramped

Lot of stickers as usual, but understandable in this case. But do the modulars typically come with 3 booklets? I don't have any, hence the question.
Cool...you're starting off with a MILS plate! Did the same for the Daily Bugle before I got started :)
Great review...been looking forward to this one...nice to see they have some continuity with the dumpster LOL. And the use of a lazy susan for spinning around builds!
Was not a Day 1 purchase for me what with all the great sets being released...delayed gratification :)
Can't but feel that they might have made it 2 studs deeper to make the top steps wider and the flooring in front of the book cases wider...do we need a 6 wide alley?

I am pretty sure that green chair is the same design as the one in the infinity war model.

i bought the airplane lego city one a few years back and i didn’t finish it at that time, but i found where all/most of the pieces went and i built it, im thinking of getting another but idk what builds do you recommend that are 0-400? (cash)
I'm torn on this set. I love the look and the build, but as someone with very shaky hands, placing the stickers is going to be an absolute nightmare. I may avoid this one simply because of all the stickers.
Just don't put it all the way on so you can see how it lands on most of it, make sure to just hold them until you're 100% certain
Question about MILS plates as I’ve never built one before (or a modular building either). Are the baseplates LEGO provides not tiled on the bottom? Why can’t you just put the included one directly into the support bricks of the MILS plate? Do you have a parts list required to build one MILS plate? Thanks!
Correct, Lego baseplates are not tiled on the bottom.

This is gonna be my first modular. Are the baseplates sturdy? Noticed you got a mils baseplate, was wondering if I should invest in one or build it on the standard in box one

Just a regular 32 x 32 baseplate
For the top of the MILS ?
Looks like 4x6 plates or did you use a mixture of plate?

I'm kinda "EH" on this set. To be fair I haven't seen the movie, so maybe I'm not the best judge. I just think the Bugle looks better, as far as Marvel buildings go and think it has better Minifigures. This one (which I realize is based on the movie) looks too much like a typical modular building which is good on one hand and kind of weird on the other...I guess the exterior Minifigure fights look a bit out of place on that style of building. Again I know it's based on a movie..hence I kind of am torn on this one. It looks good as a modular building, and the Minifigures are pretty good, but the combination doesn't feel cohesive.
Definitely feel the same about this set. I might wait and see if anyone on the Rebrickable community post other alternative builds :)
