If you can’t find pigs in blankets this close to Christmas, have you thought about buying some packs of chipolater sausages & a few packs of streaky bacon ? Wouldn’t take a minute just to wrap the bacon around the sausages. Depending where you’re cooking them (yours or your mums), you can pop them in a ziplock back & put in the fridge, or buy some disposable foil trays if you don’t want to dirty your mums, & place some foil over the top, just take foil off before cooking 😊 I always make my own because you get more bang for your buck! Don’t have an Asda local so I’ll be getting some veggies from Tesco tomorrow, friend is kindly lending me a little money because I get paid my disability benefit on.. the ruddy 24th!!!! What a stupid day 🤦🏼♀️ I wouldn’t dream of leaving the house Christmas Eve! So she’s kindly picking a few bits up for me tomorrow until my shop comes on 27th. If I’d known sooner when I was getting my money I’d have prebooked a slot but no.. they don’t like to tell us too early to make it convenient lol. Hello Penny, why cook when you have a chef in the family😂 my son is a fiend for spices and herbs,sauces etc. A least you got 8p veg, Tesco could have done the same, its got expensive there. Darent get much more in my kitchen. Buy cheap veg while you can, ❤Gill
