I'm OOS heading to Bama as a freshman in the fall and have been looking for a video like this! Thank you for uploading, I needed this!
TIps 1) Get a calendar: do NOT write down due dates, write when you are going to do them (ideally before the due date :D)
2) Ask plenty of questions (when appropriate)
3) It's okay to not get all A's, focus on passing...
4) You can totally work during school, it's all time management. Procrastination is a product of too much free time.
5) Nursing school isn't a test of intelligence, it's a test of will.

I'm from Long Island, NY and I feel in LOVE with UA! I graduated in '17 and never have regretted it! My freshman year was a little bit of a culture shock but I feel in love so fast! ROLL TIDE!

wow this was so helpful! i'm a high school junior that recently visited alabama in the fall and fell in love. still deciding whether i'd rather go here or somewhere in-state (i am from the north too), but bama is definitely high on my list! crazy enough i'm looking to major in journalism and hopefully rush too. any thoughts on the journalism program specifically?

I am from Denmark but recently I've been looking into studying abroad (maybe for the whole time, maybe just for a semester or two) and the university of Alabama looks really great. I've been looking into univ. of Alabama and univ. of Pittsburgh. Would you recommend univ. of Alabama to an international student? And do you have to join a sorority if you go to Alabama? I subscribed btw:-)
you would absolutely love it here! you do not have to join a sorority here, there is so much to get involved in! greek life is just a big part of campus life

I would love to go to a school in the US with lots of school spirit and lots of football and American culture, and it seems like the univ. of Alabama has both of those while still being a good academic school. Is it possible to live on campus after freshman year?

Was it difficult to pay for school plus sororities being an out of state student? I would love to go to Alabama, I just know it is all very expensive.
that’s a question i get a lot!! there are a lot of scholarships through the school and sororities that can help with that

my roommate had first day so she pulled me up with her
Chances of getting pres I or II with 3rd day pick? I have one other roommate I would pull.
Nicolas Uribe i had 2nd day and i still didnt get it. it usually fills up on the first day! but i highly recommended riverside. its right by pres and a lot quieter
I ended up getting the rooms I really didn't want, but only because of the community bathroom.
