Excellent video Ross!! Still find it mad that TfW run 2 cars from Holyhead to Cardiff!! A decent variety none the less and I like the addition of the extra information and what not! Excelleny to see the NMT departure and some nice tones throughout as well
I have heard that Avanti West Coast have started using the Class 807 Evero on the London Euston-Birmingham New Street service. Mind you the Class 805 Evero that replaced the Class 221 Voyagers are very nice.
So I focus on two things, lighting and positioning. Although it might seem like a lot of these shots are unplanned, I actually put a lot of subconscious effort into making sure that it’s the best possible shot. My advice, 1. Avoid direct sun, the more sun you have the more washed out it tends to be. 2. Plan your shot beforehand, work out where you need to stand to see in both directions with limited obstacles. 3. When editing, increase the saturation and brightness, cameras don’t do the world justice, probably 104% brightness and 109% Saturation is enough to show the colours as we see them.
