    Marvellous that the corncrakes are, at last, gaining a foothold on the land which is becoming so usable for them.

    How do these collars differ from those that are considered to be cruel for dogs in the UK & currently under consideration for banning their use?

      There’s quite a size difference between a Highland koo and a wee dog, so I guess it’s likely to be less dangerous to the larger animal.

    I understand how highland cattle helps but do the thousands of sheep in the background also provide a net benefit or do we just ignore that problem.
    No offense to farmers I understand you have your hands tied and really struggle to prioritise the environment, but look at places such as dartmoor or Yorkshire moor, how do you control overgrazing si that this doesn't happen if I may ask, I am only curious, does the breed play a big part?
